New owners/ management We have been a loyal customer of this shop in Gainesville for years. We prefer to shop local and support these businesses. We were told at a pre-pandemic visit that if an expensive squirrel deferent feeder would not work for us that we could exchange at anytime. We tried it out for 6 months and the birds would not use it. Changed the food out many times and noticed that it got clogged regularly . Bought some anti clogging stuff from WBU that failed to improve the functioning of the feeder then cleaned it up and stowed away. On a recent visit we decided to see if they’d honor their promise…return or repair…and the new owner was astounded that we would even make such a suggestion and offered us $30. We had just purchased $500 of new food and feeders but will not be supporting the store moving forward. We discarded the feeder. Cheaper food and feeders that similarly cannot be exchanged can be found elsewhere. Love the staff. Always pleasant...

absolutely incredible service. i have been to wild birds many times when i visit family in gainesville, and they have always been stellar. our recent experience went above and beyond all expectations. my sister and i forgot about mother's day amidst the covid crisis, leaving us card-less and gift-less at the last minute. thankfully we were not idea-less, and we gave wild birds a call. they rescued us despite the covid circumstances and our lateness! their knowledge of our mom as a local repeat customer and their expertise saved us from gifting her something she already had, and their attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and care blew us, and our mom, away! thank you so much, wild birds, and thank you Bubba for being the santa claus of birds! :) they are a shining example of how small businesses genuinely care about...

Grayson helped us choose the equipment and food we would need to attract a variety of birds when we first visited WBU a few weeks ago. His guidance was so on point that we visited again today to add more feeders and a bird house and were lucky to work with him again. He answers every question clearly, knows so much about birds, their requirements, and which WBU products will meet our needs, plus he is so easy to work with.
