Kentlands Market Square — Local services in Gaithersburg

Kentlands Market Square is one of my favorite spots in the area. The atmosphere is inviting and lively, and it’s conveniently within walking distance from many homes in both the Kentlands and Lakelands neighborhoods. While I always stay aware of my surroundings, I genuinely feel safe here at any time of day.

The selection of shops and restaurants is impressive—there’s something for everyone, and the food options are consistently great. The people in the area are friendly, and the entire shopping district is kept clean and well-maintained. If you're into lots of raw tiny cut food, then this place is for you. But for the rest of us, who want a satisfying meal of cooked but still crispy veggies and maybe a side of meat, I can recommend a lot of new places that are equally fast, super healthy and a lot more delicious. Their dips like hummus, dressing etc are delicious and can be found in grocery stores, but I've never been into heaping bowls of tiny pieces of raw veggies, so I stick to buying the hummus instead. Whole Foods was my initial draw, along with Give Guys Burgers and Fries but their are other epicurean delights available at dining establishments offering Thai, Mediterranean, Italian and cuisines. There are service sites if one is in need of glasses, hair cuts, haircare, fitness, Pet Smart or postal services. One may also obtain their beverage fix at the area Starbucks.
