My 10 yo son came in with beautiful, shoulder-length hair and left looking like Moe from The Three Stooges. I had high hopes after reading so many great reviews so I thought this would finally be our place to get some real style and great service, but the experience was a big disappointment. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was cold—no greeting, no warmth, nothing to make us feel welcome. Maybe we’re not her typical clientele, so she didn’t feel the need to make an extra effort, or maybe she was having a bad day—or maybe that’s just her usual vibe. Either way, it’s definitely was not the best first impression. Pantea barely glanced at the reference photos before cutting, with no real consultation or effort to understand what we wanted. It felt rushed and impersonal.

She clearly saw I wasn’t happy and didn’t charge us, which I appreciated—but I would’ve been more than happy to pay for great service and tip well too. We’ve had many bad haircuts before, but never such a poor overall experience.

I’m someone who believes in trying new places and giving things a fair shot. Hair grows back—that’s not what I’m truly upset about. Not a bad haircut but not what I asked for. Came in asking for mid drop fade with a little bit off the top. Left with a high fade and basically anything on the top. The haircut itself is not a bad haircut IF that is what you like and what looks good on you. In my case this is not what I asked for nor a hair style that looks good on me and quite frankly for me one of the worst hair styles to wear. Unfortunately I will be wearing a hat until my hair grows back out and I can feel confident with my hair style again. If a barber cannot give the hair style or fade the customer asks for just tell the customer, do not say you can and proceed to give the wrong hair cut.
