I had a horrible experience at the store yesterday and today. I usually don't write reviews but this time I feel disrespected and lied to by the cashier. It happened in 2 different times.

The first time I was looking for the coupon on my phone, and the cashier kept telling me that the coupon changes every day, they're all expired and so on. There was one person after me, and I told the cashier that I don't want to hold the line. She said she can't do anything except she calls for her manager. The guy after me said that he only had a question, asked his question and left. Meanwhile I found the coupon on the first page of the website and she scanned it and I paid and left.

The next day I went to buy more of that item. She was at the register by herself like last time. I went to her and she told me that your coupon is used and can't be used again. I said let me find a right coupon and I come back to you. She suspended the transaction (yesterday she had told me that she needed her manager) I wanted to take back my items, but she forcefully took them out of my hands. She said that she needed them to suspend the transaction, but she put them behind her on the shelf. Then I got out of the customer line and called my husband to send the link of the website on his phone to me to see if that works, and he did.

When I went to her again she told me that the coupon is not valid! I asked her to give me the items, so I can try at the self check out, but she said that you're not buying without coupon, and didn't give them to me. I told her give me my purchase, and she said you didn't purchase them! I asked her again to give it to me so I can put them in my cart while I'm in the store. She finally gave them to me. Then I went to a nice lady who worked there, may be she was the manager, and she walked with me to self check out and scanned the coupon and it worked.

She is supposed to tell the customers that she can suspend the transaction when she can. She is supposed to give back the item when the customers ask for it, and not telling them that their (valid)coupon is not valid and they are not buying without coupon. She is definitely not allowed to grab the item out of the customer's hand.

The store has a pretty good collection of craft and decorative items... no qualms about that...But it's the staff that made me take down my rating. I've been visiting this store a few times in the past two weeks, and every single time I've noted two staff members are either exasperated or irritated. At first I thought, everyone has a tough day once in a while, but that's no reason to treat your customer in such manner every single time! It takes away the joy of shopping for a project 😔

My experience is very similar to the one that another customer has specified previously -- This staff member was helping out a customer with some queries for a long while with the sunniest of the dispositions. After she was done with this customer, I was about to ask her for help for a sticky tape, when she coldly stated “You’re going to have to wait, I have this customer, and another, and have to go across the store”, with a ton of attitude.

This staff member has behaved with this on this manner several times, and I've my hunch about the reason. I could be wrong though...Anyway, opt for this store for emergencies and if you know your way around the store. It's quite...
