This is the only consignment shop in Galena and one of a few antique stores. It's pretty large for the area it's in due to it being its own building. It's just south of Main St, you can walk to it no problem.
We saw a lot of neat things like we always do at consignment shops but didn't purchase anything. They had some pretty nice older furniture pieces but unfortunately being several hours from home without a large vehicle, we couldn't purchase anything.
The store was clean and organized. I can assume that during the busy season it can get pretty crowded. You can also park in their parking lot for $10. Read moreI walked up to the counter with an OG scooter for an American Girl Doll for my daughter. What I didn't realize is that he was charging $65 for it. You can get it new for $29 right now if you walk into a Target. I declined when I found out the price, it wasn't a big deal, and hey, it's his store he can charge what he wants. But he wouldn't let me walk away, and insisted that he look it up on the internet. When I looked it up in 5 seconds and showed him he got mad. "This is not a flea market" "I don't have flea market prices" "my consigners need to make money." He was just berating me. I was not even trying to haggle with him at all, I was just trying to walk out of his store. I stood up for myself, because seriously who treats someone like that?...

I always love to see their depression glass collection and displays of jewelry. The staff is friendly - all around just an incredible gem of Galena. This trip I found some lovely gifts for my mom.
