Best Donuts — Restaurant in Gallatin

Wherever you may be in Middle Tennessee, you may came across a Best Donuts business ... but not all are the same. Usually, when I want some donuts, I'll go to the Best Donuts location in White House. In my opinion, they're the best in White House. But recently, I've been making trips to Gallatin. I saw a Best Donuts there and had to try them out. I can't explain why this is but the donuts at this location are a notch or two better! For me, the donuts seem to be a tad sweeter ... two tads lighter or fluffier. Okay, for the official record, I'm not sure any donut can beat one from Longs in the Indianapolis, IN area OR a Krispy Kreme ... but Best Donuts is very close to the taste and a WHOLE LOT CLOSER in mileage. If you go here after 9am they are always out of a lot of their donuts and other menu items. Our last 3 visits the staff was rude. My wife asked the lady what was still available and was told that she could order just about anything. She asked for some cinnamon rolls they were out, apple fritters out, bear claws out. My wife again asked her what she had available and the lady responded if you want that kind of stuff you have to come earlier with a very hateful attitude. This lady always seems to have an attitude and can barely speak english. We went to donut palace instead. The staff is always friendly there, they are never out of product, and the prices are lower. Will not be back to...

As soon as we opened the doors to pur car, we knew that we made the right decision stopping here for breakfast rather than heading to the local McDonald's. The smells of freshly cooked donuts filled the air. It was literally sweet. For $5 you can have a sandwich and coffee that will satisfy you. Add in a fresh donut and you'll secure your confidence in your decision to stop. The kolache was warmed and the bread flaky. The donut was soft and spongy just like you want it. Not over fried or overly thick like a cake donut. We'll be back...
