Gourmet Liquors — Local services in Galloway Township

I've loved this place for years. The management and staff are kind and helpful and their selection is broad. Their craft beer selection is a dream: Victory, Flying Fish, River Horse, Stone, Lagunitas, Dogfish Head, and plenty more. I wish there weren't so many IPA's, but that's on the industry. There's enough tripels, goldens, Belgians, porters, stouts, session ales and lagers to satisfy, many of which are unfiltered and cellar-worthy. I only gave them four stars because the selection has slimmed a bit lately; it definitely used to be larger. They also have a stellar selection of bourbon, scotch, shine, rye, Irish and other whiskeys; gin, rum, tequila, and vodka; liqueurs both common and unique; a noteworthy variety of bitters; as well as tonic, ginger ale, club and other sodas, lots of pre-made cocktail mixers for margaritas and such, and even ice - everything needed for a party, or to fully stock a bar. I'm not much of a wine person, but the selection certainly is large and none of my friends have ever found it lacking and left...

Very disappointed with the service at cashier. Today was the third time I came in to purchase something, and the "young man" behind the register closed the drawer and did not offer change. Did he think it was a tip? Twice before, another youngster closed the drawer as I paid cash, and did not offer change!! Really???? This will get around town. You need to train your people a little better, and not be on their phones and ignore customers needs. Sunday 1/5/20...1315h. Once again, the kid at cashier was not paying attention to his job. Asked for 3 shooters of a certain type, charged me and i left. Checked my purchase in the car, only to see I was given the WRONG items. Management really needs to train...

I recently went to this establishment and went to purchase a 6pack and found one beer missing. So as I went to let them know,the manager started to mouth off at me cause I asyif there was a discount on this 5 pack. Not only that ,he even got more aggressive toward me. Had to run out the store cause I thought he was gonna get physical. Will step foot in that place again. It's a shame cause it's the closest place to get beverages. Got one thing to say to that manager. Get a job where you don't have to deal with customers. I have 35 yrs. Doing so. And you definitely don't belong in this line of work. Sorry for this post. But somebody needs to...
