Just went to the store to return a few items.
One item required a box even though it was already in a box. I told the young kid with glasses it doesn’t say box. He Rudly said yes it does line 2. I said ok I will go and get the box since I have to return something else.
He started measuring the box and tried to sell me a box for 8 dollars. I said I already have a box will go and get it. Than he was really rude again and said, than Go get it. He just wanted to sell me a box for 8 dollars.
I went home and got another box to fit the box inside that box.
I called Amazon and asked their policy. The Customer service rep said was the item inside the box and sealed and taped up. I said yes it was back in original box. They said than that box is fine. I told them it was the same box they shipped it in. Labels and etc removed.
I went back to the store and than questioned the same person named Oliver, he kept insisting read line 2.
Here is what Amazon return sent me word for word:
Ensure that there are no other tracking labels attached to your package. If you are shipping any non-hazardous items, completely remove or cover any hazardous materials markings. Boxes should be packed and sealed before dropping off at The UPS Store location or packaging charges may apply.
I told him let’s read it. Show me where it says it can’t be the box which is original box it came with. He said O you didn’t tell me that’s how it came. I said yes I did and you didn’t want to listen.
Than he said well we can ship it in that box but if it gets damaged it’s in you. Again I said it’s the original box. You just wanted to sell me an 8 dollar box.
People please read the return instructions. This ups store is playing games. Not the first time they were extremely rude.
Precious turns approx a month ago I have several returns and I was in line and my son was holding several boxes, and guy said let me check out the people with single items. While my son stood there with 5 boxes in one hand.
They are not mindful of anything.
I will tell you at times sone of the reps are great but it’s the younger ones who act like they don’t need to be Custer friendly.
When I walked back in the store I saw Oliver helping someone else and was talking to himself and threw some items in a basket in anger.
He must be having a bad day but doesn’t mean you take it out...
Read moreFirst of all The Timeline: I placed a print order for a single print, laminated, at 9am. The website said the order was due by 4:30pm
The NEXT DAY, I check the order status and it's at the same place it was the day before, so I call the store.
I give them the order, the impression I got wad that it was the first time anyone had even been made aware of it, but I was told it could be done in an hour. Ok. This was at 10am
At 3pm, I went to the UPS store to pick up my order, the guy hands me some sheets that aren't laminated. (Mind you these are very obviously meant to be ID cards).
I told the guy I asked for lamination on my order, he says it will only take a minute. Ok, fine.
I go to the store and come back to come pick up my order, THOSE SAME SHEETS ARE STILL SITTING THERE. Another guy asks me if I need help and I ask about the order, he calls over the first guy who begins to say "oh my bad it was warming up but I forgot"....professional right?
They begin whispering, so I walk far enough away to still hear but look distracted, and they're talking about how nowhere on my order does in metion lamination.
NOW MIND YOU (SEE ATTACHED IMAGE) why would anyone pay SIX DOLLARS for a SINGLE COLOR PRINT of plain paper?! OBVIOUSLY, lamination is being added on.
So he says to me as he hands me my order "there's nothing on the order that says anything about lamination but we did it for you anayway" as if he's doing ME A FAVOR BY PROVIDING ME A LATE SERVICE THAT I PAID FOR AND PRETENDING I DIDNT!!
Never again, the rest of the 1 star comments are accurate with the level of professionalism that...
Read moreI have been going for years and I love this store. The assistant manager OLIVER is completely unprofessional and rude. It’s sad that people like him are manager whereas nice people like Sophie are nice and helpful. I spent the last 2 hours on my Saturday because I’m missing 120$. I really hate complaining and never write reviews even when I should, but I must say that the blatant disregard for any integrity at work is clear. He refused to disassemble a chair that Amazon informed me he would be able to. I didn’t mind taking it back to my house and doing it myself. I’m now 3 weeks later trying to find out why I haven’t received my refund only to find out that the return label wasn’t delivered with the correct label. I wish that he had given me less attitude when asking for his help and cared more about his job. As a manager, I would expect more diligence in their work, but I understand that everyone has their day. When I called today to fix to problem he helped by scanning the original label. I would’ve only loved a formal farewell and apology for the mistake but instead I was hung up on after I confirmed my email receipt. I’m not asking for a friend at ups but I would expect more professionalism at ups from a manager. It seems Oliver doesn’t know how to treat people with respect. Once again I love this store because of helpful, diligent, and approachable employees such as Sophie, but I’d hate to see a nice business be...
