La Mesa — Restaurant in Galloway Township

Worst experience ever. We came with a group of 8. Cinco de mayo advertised 1/2 off appetizers and margaritas. And that's what our group ordered. Not once were we told it only applies to people who sat at the bar. We were there when the bar was empty. When the bill came nothing was 1/2 off. We asked for the manager and he said his post does not advertise ALL appetizers and margaritas. SO BEWARE because there is no FINE PRINT. Be expected to pay full price for everything even though they advertised 1/2 off. He showed us a "specific menu" that was half off but still charged us FULL PRICE on margaritas that was on that "half price menu". My group does not ever complain about spending money, but if you're going to advertise, stay true to that advertisement. Needless to say we will never be back and we will no longer support or waste our money at this establishment.

In response to the owner's comment, he showed us the "special menu" that was supposed to be 1/2 off and we showed him the bill where we did order 6 drinks off of it and was still charged full price and his response was, I can give you 10% off. 🤷‍♀️ I'm local and will not recommend this...

Met up with my husband after work. We were seated in the restaurant, but the waitress said we would get happy hour prices if we sat in the bar area. We sat at a high top round table that was too high for me to sit in the seat, and the seat was too small. The waitress was slow in coming over, when she did, I asked her about the happy hour specials, and I asked her if the pomegranate margarita was a special price and she said sure you can get that, we ordered wings off the appetizer menu and we got 4 wings for seven dollars. That’s not such a happy hour price. I got the chicken fajita for dinner and it didn’t come with any salsa or sour cream. It was very dry and flavorless. I asked for sour cream and salsa and was up charged four dollars. My husband and I were shocked when we got the bill, both of our drinks tasted like they had no alcohol, and surprisingly my margarita was $14. I almost freaked out what a rip off especially when I asked the waitress if it was part of the happy hour special. To summit up the food was not great. The service was slow and the drinks were way too expensive and lacked alcohol. We will not...

NEVER AGAIN !!!! THE MOST UNORGANIZED UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE I'VE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF VISITING. I went there on a Thursday and was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. After multiple people were sat before me and multiple times of going in and being told that they were clearing a table for me and my party. I finally was fed up. Everyone who either was waiting with us or came in after were seated before us. I finally lost my cool and demanded to be seated (after waiting almost an hour and a half) and was told it would be A 30 MINUTE WAIT FOR A TABLE !!!! I demanded to speak to the manager who originally quoted me 15-20 minutes. I noticed not only did he avoid me but he also jumped in his car left. I'd give this place a zero if I could but 1 is the lowest I could give.
