Horrible customer service, no accountability for their mistakes, & no concern that a customer was extremely unsatisfied and felt mistreated. #1 - I have the original order form (dated 4-6-17) where the sales person wrote down 1 swivel/glider chair..... I was delivered a swivel chair but it wasn't a gilder. They also gave me the original invoice with lines scribbled thru certain words & a new invoice rewritten (date 4-27-17 ....21 days later) minus the word "glider" . Needless to say, I called when it was delivered and the owner offered no help or recourse. She just kept saying "that's the chair you ordered. " Well, that's the chair THEY ordered ME but it's definitely NOT THE CHAIR I ORDERED! (Oh & by the way, I made it a point to ask when I purchased everything that if there was a problem at delivery if they would guarantee it or replace it & the owner and sales person assured me yes of course they would! So, Im stuck with the chair and the owner and staff show no concern or remorse! Not to mention the patronizing rude tone in the owner's voice. #2 - I was told numerous times by several staff members and locals that delivery was free but 2 days before the delivery date they called and asked for my cc# to cover the $50 delivery fee that they had recently implemented! I was NEVER told about this until the phone call! I questioned this and they were determined to charge me and justified it by saying "all the other stores charge $150 delivery fees." I'd like to let the owner know that "all other stores" have INTEGRITY & honor their word and don't show favoritism to certain customers and not others. Avoid this local mom and pop shop.... it's definitely run like a novice business where customer service is not an emphasis.....I have attached a pic of the original invoice that the delivery men gave me ....you can see where they scratched thru the words "swivel glider"...
Read moreMy fiance and I Love the furniture here and Clifford (sales and interior decorator) We purchased furniture here over 3 months ago. The owner, however, is a different story. She was very rude on the phone and had a nasty attitude toward me. She threw a fit when I wanted to change the order "not even" 24 hours after purchase of over 5k in furniture and before delivery. She treated me horribly as if SHE were doing me a favor....Very arrogant! Luckily for her , I was at work when I called , so I had to keep my composure. I only wanted to change one item ( hall entry table) to an (entertainment type table) costing slightly more and is definitely working much better for us, both items were in the store. We almost canceled the whole order due to her nasty attitude, but Clifford worked great with us and if it weren't for him, we would have. We will avoid ever buying anything from her store again. Hopefully, she either learns to treat people better, needs many lessons in" Customer Service" or let someone else handle those matters. I've NEVER been treated so badly by a business owner and NEVER received any type of apology for her nastiness. Thank you Clifford for treating us with respect...
Read moreBought a bedroom set back in April, some of it came in (minus headboard) we set up delivery and they TOTALLY FORGOT to deliver. I called and we set up another time, he said he would bring me a gift card to compensate. Delivered what was in forgot gc. Delivered the bed frame today and there is NO way to attach the headboard to the frame. The box the headboard came in said,”hardware included” but Mike said there isn’t any hardware. He talked to us like we were stupid and still no gift card. He said he would come put it together since we couldn’t figure it out, no thanks. My husband remodeled our house by himself, we’re not stupid. Used to Love this store, bought many items...
