I have been coming to this park since 2011 . I love it. I have always lived right by it. It use to be a basic park back in 2015 and it was ok. Simple and ok but then they changed it this year which again is ok but for a park that gets as much traffic as this one does they did several things wrong. there is only 2 swings,1 rocking swing that most kids don't use and a tire swing.again most kids want classic swings. Then there is 2 giant round swings you can lay or sit on which are really cool but again only 2 of them for a park that now gets abnormal traffic. There is also the issue of the sand pit. The sand pit is away from all the other stuff behind a small hill so you can't see your kids playing there from the playground And there is no benches around the sandbox for adults to sit down. Also the issue of sand The sand is old and clumpy and needs cleaning more often (cats and other animals use it ) . Perhaps if it wasn't hidden and put in a place with more traffic then animals wouldn't go there often Not only that but they have left 2 giant metal poles sticking up from the ground right by the sandbox for some game (nobody has used that at all since I been going to this park EVERYDAY . not only is it in an awkward location its also dangerous and the kids don't even know how to play with that. I suggest covering the sandbox like they did with the swings and removing those poles that will I guarantee you hurt a kid one day. The sandbox needs to be moved in the other play area so the kids can use it without parents worrying. Also I suggest some cameras near the tennis court. Maybe petition the city because not once but hundreds of times I have seen older men asking little kids specifically boys to help him fix his truck Or they will sit there and hold their privates as they stare at the kids passing by. Its sickening honestly. Fix these issues and you have no problems. Also you really should cover the tennis court like you did the playground with a giant cover so people can still play if it rains. It will also preserve the life of the playground because it won't get sun damage or snow and rain damage as fast....
Read moreI took my son to check out the new playground and it was ok. I read about it being handicap accessible but the only thing I saw for someone in a wheelchair to participate in was the roundabout/merry go round. There is a sandbox but we didn't play in it because my son wasn't interested. It was an ok experience, we spent an hour there before we got bored. On the small child play area it has this really frustrating thing where you move things from side to side, but only if you match up the pieces with the nut bolts that protrude out of the bar. If you don't then the pieces cant move to...
Read moreSo I was desperately searching for a park on Cassia and ended up going here. This park on Cassia is exactly as advertised. No bait and switch here! It is a park. On Cassia. I will say the service is lackluster. I waited for 4 hours and 25 minutes and no one came to take my order, so I'm not sure about the quality of the food there, but five stars for delivering on what drew me there in the first place, which was that it was a...
