ALDI is a great grocery store. The prices are pretty good, and I have never been disappointed with their products. They have excellent gluten free options. This particular store is clean and has friendly staff. The one drawback is that they don't keep a huge stock of everything on hand, so you might not be able to get everything you're looking for - this is pretty rare though.
I have seen first-timers get confused so do the following: bring a quarter to get a cart. They don't have attendants in the parking lot returning carts, you're expected to do it yourself. The incentive is to get your quarter back. bring your own bags. They have bags for sale but they don't give them to you for free. You can use any empty boxes they have but they are not always available be ready to bag your own groceries. Here's how it works: You put your groceries on the conveyer, the attendant swipes them and puts them in an empty cart. You pay and your now empty cart stays with the attendant. You take your groceries to a counter and bag/organize them however you want.
Aldi has especially good chocolates, beer, salsa, and gluten free wraps/tortillas. Oh, and the peanut butter filled...
Read moreI was really disappointed the stock is growing is bigger you have a better selection than before but the prices on some items were higher than other markets like Walmart I was disappointed in the fact that their net handicap friendly. My driver went in to get me a cart 2 drive. He was told that the one they had was in use. Traverse City Michigan is a large area and Aldi's is getting more customers every day. There was one wheelchair and when he brought it over to me the footrest was broken off when was flipped up so he couldn't push me in the wheelchair and I had to heel-toe it in the chair all over the store. This is no way to treat the handicapped. I didn't buy as much as I was going to because I got tired of trying to maneuver that chair around with my feet. We went over to Walmart and finished our shopping. Maybe at 78 all handicapped people should stay home. I think not. I think store should be obligated to make sure we can have the comfort of people that can walk...
Read moreI normally don’t do this but to call out mr. anthony esquivel Review. I know of the young man he’s talking about and he’s always been super helpful with me and my wife when we’re in shopping. During these extremely difficult times I’ve seen these hard working people being over worked due to being short handed and being treated pretty poorly by the customers and it’s really sad to see. They don’t hate there jobs they are exhausted and are super stressed out because people haven’t been to nice as of late. You should have a conversation with some of these people sometime and learn there side before you post about them on the internet. Everyone at aldi has been doing so great during the difficult year and I will always shop there and give...
