Major damage to my home due to a subcontracted delivery service 3 months ago. Flooring, drywall, paint, front door, hand rails, countertops, baby gate ripped out of the and a ton of trims. Guys showing up with no id or name tag and my fiancé calling to complain about that. The quality of delivery guys was what I would consider un-vetted and dangerous to have in your home. Their store manager promised a call didn’t get one, the “Sedgwick” claim company is a nightmare, and the attempt to talk to a manager just got me a call from the unresponsive person handling the claim. In which it produced more responsibility for me and 0 from them. The delivery guys had my fiancé sign on no damage on the second delivery where I had to be home due to her feeling unsafe during the first delivery. Her name was on nothing and she wasn’t not even present as she was in a back office they snuck to have her sign. Dishwasher went in fine with some safety concerns. The fridge and oven on the other had were both damaged. 5k-6k in appliances I had delivered and installed due to me not having time and it ends with a headache that takes months to resolve and more time than just doing it myself. Careless delivery team. Terrible response and lack of care for the customer. Restoration company estimate is on the way. He believes the flooring is discontinued as well as the countertops. We’ve attempted to match paint to get ahead but cannot. Sedgwick thinks it’s worth $400. I’m praying that this is taken care of by December at this point and I truly believe they think I’m bluffing on suing. My house is trashed. I own a medium size service company that is 5 star. I understand how important it is to do a good job, but it is more important to fix mistakes. This is so frustrating as we have our daughters first birthday party with a home that is trashed from entrance to kitchen. It’s embarrassing and to this date I will know absolutely nothing until my attorneys get the bid in their hands. Do not hire them to deliver! I also buy over 2 million a year from a company they own and buy a ton of our inventory from Home Depot, that business will be 0 going forward as I see how they handle their mistakes. 40 damage photos in 50’ of travel through my house. Oh yeah I forgot they didn’t bring the tools for the job and rummaged through my tools in the garage. That’s always a...
Read moreWent in to get blinds cut and told the older man 29 1/2 as the inside opening was 30. He took his sweet time cutting them and to top it off it was cut at the wrong measurements. So I had to come in and make another trip to get them cut correctly. While I was there I passed two associates and asked him to help me which worked in that department. They both walked right past me and said I’m too busy. And are I began searching for another associate. A gentleman who was off the clock said he will try to find someone for me. I asked if it would not be an older gentleman as the older gentleman had done it incorrectly. He sent the exact same gentleman over that cut it wrong the first time. That gentleman then proceeded to say that he cut it correctly even though it was at 29 and five eights. He began to argue with me as another man approached and offered to cut them. He check the measurements and also saw that it was cut incorrectly. He suggested taking off even more to make sure it was going to fit. The older gentleman then held my car in place so I was not able to approach the new guy. I asked him to please let go of my cart and why is he stopping me?! He said he was going to measure and help with the rest and I told him absolutely not that the other guy will work with me instead. He aggressively said fine by all means and walked away while grumbling under his breath. The new person that was cutting my blinds then continued to debate and argue with me that my measurements were wrong and that there should be even more taken off now. This should not be ever happening. Because of Home Depot my day is a fluster and I am very upset. I come in every month and spend thousands of dollars at home repair and remodeling and this is the behavior I get. Why could they not just not say I’m sorry and cut correctly? Needless to say I left Home Depot and headed to Menards to get the rest of my supplies which by the way are equivalent to over $10,000. I will also be buying my new cabinetry and appliances at Menards instead of Home Depot. Home Depot for the loss and Will not...
Read moreI don't even know where to start. This is probably the worst experience I have ever had. I would highly advise anyone to think twice about using AIS through the home depot. We ordered carpet the end of march. Was told end of april for the latest possible install date. Got a phone call for May 18th. oh well, we went with it. The first guys there claimed they couldn't get the carpet down the stairs and left after putting down the padding and tack strips. Then we were rescheduled for 2 weeks from that on a saturday to finish the install. 2 oclock rolls around and NO ONE SHOWED UP. Not even a phone call. Call them and no knows anything as to why no one showed up. So we get rescheduled again for the following friday. Two new people show up and inform me that they cannot install the carpet due to problem with the pad and tack strips that the first guys put down. They left. They noted that the first guys actually installed some of the tack strips and padding wrong to begin with. Called AIS 6 days later after not receiving a phone call from them to reschedule and then they say the soonest they can install is 6 WEEKS LATER (end of July). After all the issues we had they are still not making up for the mistakes they made. Very irritating to work with and absolutely no remorse or any eagerness to make the situation right. I have done nothing wrong and have been scheduled 3 times and have yet to have my carpet installed. Please, please do not use AIS I would highly recommend finding another company. Nothing but excuses from them. Again this has probably been the worst experience I have ever had in my life. Home depot does not hold AIS accountable, and that is probably the most frustrating part. I will be shopping around now and finding some else to buy carpet from even if we have to wait longer at this point it will be worth it to just be done with the Home Depot and AIS. I for a fact will never spend another...
