Nice store. Huge with many different things to choose from, but when I went to check out, i didn’t want to buy a rewards membership and that seemed to make the young man working the cash register pretty upset, and his whole demeanor changed from pleasant to annoyed. Then, I accidentally mistyped my card pin, and I thought it told me to remove the card out of the reader, so I did. Well apparently I wasn’t supposed to, and it made the computer shut off and reboot. The cashier was pretty rude about it, and and had me move down to the next cashier, and then proceeded to repeat why the computer crashed to every person that walked up, to the point where a lady had to tell him that she already heard him and he didn’t need to repeat it, as it is a very quiet store. I feel the tone of the cashier was very unnecessary and he didn’t even seem to care how rude he was being. I apologized many times, and felt really bad for pulling out my card when I apparently shouldn’t have, but I also almost started crying and almost threw my stuff and walked out because he made me feel terrible, and stupid, and also like I did something way worse than just pulled my card out of the...
Read moreThe staff was nice.... not so helpful. Definitely do not come to this location if you are looking for how to's might as well save the gas and get it online. I scoured the whole place and saw two employees chatting and it seemed work related so I veered off to allow them to finish talking and then did the confused customer look and one of them stopped. I told him what I was looking for and the location I "veered" into was christian whatever and he politely corrected me. I was asking for a how to carpentry/house framing book.... I know well enough its not going to be in between bible quotes to inspire and a precious moments bible. Then he had a spheel about how they inherited the borders books shelving yadda yadda had me follow him back up to the front to a cashier already engaged so that he could check out another customer. Follow the $$? So I left. I won't be back, and that includes...
Read moreThe person in charge of the shift (we think named Adam) was a complete jerk. Josh ( our cashier) was helpful and kind. He noticed the system over charged us by like 30cents a book and asked for help to fix this issue, as it sounded like this was a reoccurring promblem. Adam basically said "its only 30 cents" and shrugged. He refused to help or offer any kind of apology. The small amount of an overcharge wasn't too bad if he had just apologized and hadnt been rude. Adam made zero eyecontact and slurpped his coffee obnoxiously. I work in customer service myself and know that was no way to treat a customer. We walked away from our books based on the principal that adam was fine with overcharging customers. We strongly believe they are overcharging all customers which would...
