I took my diamond ring here to have 1 prong fixed so it want catching on everything. When I picked it up, it was no different. I requested it be repaired, as I had already paid for such. He was going to repair while I waited. He DESTROYED the prong in the setting, had to remove the diamond, was not able to complete the repair while I waited, took the ring to his shop in Clayton, when I was contacted to pick it up; OMG! He had REPLACED the setting with a bulky, cheap setting that obscures my diamond instead of showing it off! The band is not the same width on both sides, so it always looks cockeyed! The setting is so low, the band no longer hugs my wedding band! The finger side of the band was ground down until very thin! the band has some sort of indention makes on both sides of the diamond where I used to have a smooth band!! The ring does not even resemble the one I took in, which was a very high quality gold and diamond! I was so disappointed and upset by this atrocity, it has taken me a year to even be able to post it! I now have to try to find a way to REPLACE my diamond ring because every single time I look at it or think about it, I am overwhelmed with sadness. My husband gave me this perfect ring for our 25th anniversary, and this man destroyed that sweet and cherished momento!!! I am embarrassed to wear it in public and ashamed for anyone to see it! Please do not trust this man with anything other than costume jewelry - and maybe not even that, if you like...

Here’s an update to my last review. This time I went in because the clasp on my bracelet broke. Michelle and I talked about it, and at first, we both thought I might need to buy a new one—which would have been quite expensive with today’s gold prices. But in spite of how it broke, Michelle was willing to give it a try. And by some miracle, she had it fixed in about 10 minutes!
