Overall food and drinks are ok so no complaints there. But the main thing is thats its true people obviously have to be friendly towards guest and all but the fact you can see a persons true side is crazy. My husband had filled out an application for a interview to work for tropical smoothie at this location. He was contacted and set up a time for an interview for a Sunday morning at 9am. Upon arrival he asked for the hiring manager but was told she dosent come in till 10am and therefore left and was told he will be contacted to reschedule because the hiring manager I believe forgot she wasnt in till 10am that day. A week or so has gone by and still nothing so my husband decided to go back to see if he can reach out to her because he had no number to contact the manager by. He goes in and was told she was in today and wasnt given a contact number but was asked for his info. He then told the worker he will try contacting a GM because he knows him just so he could get a number to call back. Once my husband arrived home he received a call in to when i was able to hear. The hiring manager had called and was very rude saying “ oh you think this is funny” and got all nasty with my husband for no reason to where he was told the worker at the store told her he was gonna report the manager to a GM because she had not shown up to the interview with him the first time….I understand there are times we get protective of ourselves but treated and saying things like that to “customers “ who decide to work for u if just wrong. We will not be coming back to het anything from this location and would like this manager to be taught how to make proper phone calls regarding a situation and not blowing up at them. And just so the person who reads this knows the managers...

This establishment was our goto, and we’d eat here almost every morning. This a.m. was an unnecessary disgrace. The customer service I received from this “team lead” (and lord knows I hate I didn’t catch her name) and her “call the police gang” was unsatisfactory just like the food we received… there was hair in me and my family’s food bag and cup lid. Went in to simply ask for a refund but instead of granting us frustrated and discussed veteran customers the refund , we had law enforcement called on us, no food, AND no refund. DIABOLICAL. Was told several times that there wasn’t a way to speak with the “manager” as she wasn’t in as well as there was no corporate to contact (which was a lie as I’ve reached out and reported my incident to them today). Utterly appalled by my experience this a.m. especially driving from Clayton to Garner as well as missing my daughters doctors appointment being they drug the issue out for an additional 30 minutes on top of the 25 mins we had to wait for the food. They don’t ever have to worry about me, my family, or friends spending our hard earned dollars with them again I know...

I recently ordered the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Smoothie with added blueberries, spinach, and the energy booster, and it was hands down the worst smoothie I’ve ever had. Given the ingredients—yogurt, white and dark chocolate, bananas, and strawberries—I expected a rich, flavorful treat. Instead, I got a bland, watered-down disappointment with barely any taste.

The smoothie lacked the chocolatey richness I anticipated, and the fruit flavors were practically nonexistent. It seemed like it was made with way too much ice, completely overpowering the ingredients. I could barely detect the blueberries or spinach, and the energy booster didn’t seem to do much either.

For the price, I expected something far better than what tasted like a weak, flavorless slush. If this was due to improper preparation, then staff need better training on balancing ingredients. Otherwise, if this is just how their smoothies are, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Definitely...
