First the atmosphere- During Covid this has been one of the best restaurants. Hostess (which I think was the manager) told us it would be a minute as they were sanitizing table. She walked us to table and said it should dry in 30 seconds. They also use plastic utensils in plastic bag. Condiments aren’t on table they come in sealed ramekin with your food. Every employee had on a mask pulled over nose. So if you’re like me and get annoyed by how some restaurants don’t care - this is the place for you! Now on to the food. We ordered, there were five of us and everyone got their meal except myself. The manager came around soon after and asked how things were and noticed I didn’t have mine. She went to check. Then right after the server came back and said she would check also. The manager came back and said my meal would be on the house and it was being remade immediately. Not sure what happened there but I wasn’t complaining at all but was very nice way for her to handle it. Got my meal all was fine and she came back again to make sure all was good. Excellent customer service from her and the server. I got clucks and shrimp. It was decent. The chicken did taste a little like frozen chicken fingers. The shrimp was good. My husband got fish and shrimp. Fish looked amazing. He liked it. My daughter got a burger. Her boyfriend got fish and chips. Here’s the most amazing part. My 8 year old grandson got a kids burger. He has never eaten a whole burger in a restaurant. He only will eat garbage from McDonald’s or Burger King. He LOVED this burger. Finished the whole burger and next day asked to go back that the burger was “sooooo good”. I was stunned lol. Overall wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be back. It’s not about having a hiccup it’s how you handle it. They did an awesome job making sure we were all satisfied.

My wife and I LOVE Red Robin. Well, to clarify, we love Red Robin as a dining establishment. This location? Not so much. Unfortunately, it is our best local option for plant-based burgers. We always place to-go orders, and there is a problem with our order more than 80 percent of the time. No, that is not an exaggeration, either. If we had other similar options, we would move on and never return. From forgetting sauces, some of which are paid for and not included free, undercooked fries, rock hard pretzel bites that would be better served to pave a driveway, forgotten toppings, incorrect toppings, etc. the list of things that frequently go wrong here is as long as it is frustrating. On our most recent visit, our burgers were soaked to the point of actually dripping, for some reason. This was the case even with the burger that was supposed to have the toppings on the side. I say "supposed to" because they, of course, weren't. Contacting customer relations doesn't bring us any meaningful measure of satisfaction. To clarify, our most recent order for two impossible burgers totaled $40, including tip. Customer relations responded back with a $20 Red Robin gift card. Now, to be fair, $15 of our original orders total was from a birthday burger promo, but that still went to a meal that resulted in my wife throwing up. No matter how you slice it, Red Robin fails to deliver the "YUMMM" time and time again, and all we ever expect is to receive our order prepared correctly. Even that most rudimentary of goals is beyond them and has been that way for several years now. It's a real shame. Maybe these problems are encountered less on dine-in visits. Even if that is the case, a person should not be forced to dine in just to ensure their order is correct.

KEYPOINT: If you are NOT able to eat spicy foods, but want to eat the avocado burger. PLEASE ASK FOR AVOCADO ON THE SIDE. Don’t risk it. They should know, but don’t. They should do better, but sometimes won’t. And that’s everywhere. Don’t waste your time or risk aggravating your system. Order avocados on the side. And the sandwich was dry after all that so extra Mayo or your condiment of choice. Ordered a lemonade. I don’t remember the name, I thought it was the Sunset lemonade. However looking at the pics on the Red Robin website, that can’t be right. Anyways, the lemonade was pretty. It tasted like pineapples and sweet tarts. I really don’t like that sweet tart taste. However, if you like that taste you may enjoy the lemonade. KEY TAKEAWAY— will I be going back? Most likely not. This was my birthday reward from Red Robin, but it didn’t feel rewarding at all.

This always used to be our favorite RR. They changed their burgers a couple years ago at all locations. That was their first demise. This was our favorite location primarily because of good service. Now, they have open tables everywhere yet there is still a wait time because they have no employees. Fries are always cold and sitting around. You habe to ask for a fresh batch. Mushroom burgers used to be wrapped in paper just to hold the toppings in. Now you're lucky if you get one whole mushroom cut into 12 slices. Last visit we ordered two kids meals. We were asked what sides we wanted. We asked what was available besides fries (because we have unlimited fries anyway). The waitress provided us a verbal list of about 4 items. Didn't say a word that what we chose were ADD-ONS at an additional cost. Bill was almost $10 more in additional sides that were $2.99 each. Which, if I wanted them I would have no problem with but naming them off to us like they ere just part of the kids meal with no mention that they were addons just wasn't right. When we brought it up our waitresses attitude changed from a number 10 perfect waitress to a totally rude, snide and almost sarcastic. True colors came out. That's like asking to refill your soda 4 times during your meal and at the end find out they don't offer free refills (this is not the case at RR, but I have had thet happen before!). A manager came out and we politely explained the situation ad his first response was that the additional cost was mentioned on the menu. Mind you, the MENU is on the kids paper placement that they draw on with crayons. Easily taken for granted that we are responsible to read it in greet detail before placing our order, obviously. We are frequent customers. We can walk in on a weekday during their slowest time and clearly see 20-25 empty tables and yet we have to wait. Too many other burger places in town to deal with their failing attempt to join the smash burger crowd that is far from a RR original burger. My last was with just LTO because I gave up on burgers with toppings that are $3 more for what used to be toppings thst spilled out because there were so many. Now I get a burger with LTO and it comes with a tablespoon of wet soggy SHREDDED lettuce and a hard white core tomato and of course, no onion at all... they "forgot". Next trip in Garner will be up or down route 70 a mile and we'll choose one of the...

We go to Red Robin’s once maybe twice a year (because we always get let down and it’s so expensive). But we decided to go after church this past weekend. And needless to say it was another disappointment. Our service was slow even though the restaurant was slow (picked up as we were leaving). It took absolutely forever to get refills as well. The food is so mediocre for the price. And I asked for garlic fries with EXTRA garlic because they literally never come with enough glad. And wouldn’t you guess, it didn’t come with anything extra. My top 6 fries had garlic and cheese and then after that it was just normal fries; and yet I get up charged for that. I even told our waitress that I wanted new fries and with more garlic and I showed her my plain “garlic” fries and she seemed absolutely annoyed as she walked away. Someone else brought me garlic fries and wouldn’t you know, they had even less garlic on them somehow.

I had the cali chicken sandwich fries and it had no flavor. My daughters burger looked so gross she wouldn’t even eat it. And my husbands bbq wrap was an absolute mess and impossible to eat. Also, the sweet potato fries were so gross they didn’t even get ate along with mine. We spent $60 on a meal that we could hardly eat and poor service. And then our gift card wouldn’t work on the table scanner yet the waitress kept telling us to try. Finally she got a manager and we still had to wait about 5 min for that (as well as trying to entertain 2 young kids). Once the manager came she said this issue happens often. So idk why our waitress wouldn’t help us the first time we asked.

Idk why I am giving it 2 stars. The food and service probably require 1 star. Oh and the balloons for the kids had been sitting there for days. They were not even fresh balloons for the kids. Just all...
