Let me start by saying that the staff was super friendly, the work got done quick and they were overall great to work with
My issue is that I went in for a quote for a radio and 4 speakers. The guy I spoke to at the counter gave me a parts and installation price of $225, and then added the cost of the 4 speakers and told me I was looking at between $350-400 out the door
The day of the installation, once the job is done and everything is already installed, the invoice is for almost $700. I asked why this is almost double what I was quoted and apparently, the guy who gave me the quote didn't include labor for installing the 4 speakers. Needless to say, I didn't come ready to pay nearly $700 and had to put some of it on my card.
The guy who billed out the invoice for me did try to bring the price down as much as he could, and I did appreciate that, but it was still over $600 in the end
I'm very happy with the new radio and speakers, and again, the staff was great, but the mistaken quote and sudden jump in price after the work was already done sorta left me with a bad taste in my mouth
I would still recommend High Output, but ensure without a doubt that your quote is correct before you get work done
Edit: updating my review after I spoke with a Miranda from their main office. She said that even though the mistake on the quote was due to a fairly new employee making a mistake with the labor costs, they would honor the original quote at $400 and refunded me the difference. That's a very open and honest business practice and I'm surprised that they did. Definitely been a great company to do...

I finally did an autopsy on my radio. Even though the radio says two inches from the mounting "Only use M4 screws" they used something else and screwed into the inside circuit board and heatsink, frying a $300 radio.
These guys were not good. Two 12V radios to be hard wired, couple of USB plugs to wire. I had to drop it off more than once to fix problems. One trip I had to pull a U-turn twice because they didn't do what I asked them to do which by the way they were taking notes you thought they would have been covered. I ended up having a radio fried and unoperable. No offer of compensation or discount. Just them: "Take a look. See it no work!" They also thought it was a good idea to mount a 2 lb. radio using double-sided 3M tape. Fell off within a month. Worst $1,000 I paid and that includes putting a pet down. The only reason I haven't posted my review sooner is because I thought I might mellow out over the whole situation, but even after a year,...
