My name is Kim. My husband and I just left Panera Bread Cafe 1869 Garner, Nc 27529. I am not at all pleased with the way we were treated and will tell my friends and family about our visit there today. We went through the drive thru. I ordered 1 BLT roast tky avc sdw with whole grain bread and no bacon. When we pulled up to the window the young lady gave us our bag, but took it back , opened it and took something off of our sandwich im guessing it was the bacon, and gave us back the bag. I was disgusted but extremly hungry so we opened it to eat it anyway. When we opened it, we noticed that there wasn't any avocado. I was pissed. My husband turned around , went back through the drive thru where it wasn't a car in sight so we went straight through to the window. We told them there wasn't any avocado, she said okay, slammed the window came back with a bowl of pieces of avocado for my husband and I to share. No fork, we had to us our fingers to fix our own sandwich. Theres no excuse for this to take place, the drive thru was empty. No car behind us , it wasn't like she was busy. I've been a faithful customer since this establishment was built. I'm apart of a beach body program as well as a lot of fitness programs in the Raleigh and Garner area. I've always told my friends to go there for a healthy little something to eat after a nice walk or workout. Not anymore. The service I received today hurt me to the core. Your employees I'm sure couldnt care less. I fixed my own sandwich and my treat was the window slamming in my face. At the top of every recipt it state " Your order should be correct every time. If its not, we'll fix it right away, and give you a free treat for your trouble. Just let any associate know." How could I let an associate know, the drive thru girl slammed the window while we we're still there and she walks away. We didnt enjoy our sandwiches. How could we, we were in shock of what...
Read moreNever really experienced Panera Bread and all its glory til yesterday. Been coming here DAILY for over a week to eat, drink and do my tax prep. Today Spencer was working and kept the dining area crystal clean and ready for new customers to sit and enjoy their food/beverages. He really added to the experience and even offered to take my dishes when we were done eating. Dined in and enjoyed one of their "You pick 2" specials with a half salad / half soup. The meal comes with a free piece of freshly made bread. Sign up for rewards and get a free pastry! Will definitely be back seeing as how I have signed up for the Monthly Sip Club. Definitely check that out if you plan to frequent this place. It is a heck of a deal. All the staff was super efficient but Mr. Spencer definitely added to the welcoming environment of the place. Seems several repeat customers know him well too. Once you visit a few times, the rewards system will generate coupon specials off of the 'You pick two' and a couple bucks off of a breakfast sandwich. There is both booth and table seating indoors and a lovely gated patio area with tables and umbrellas. NOTE: Only about 5 or so tables indoors offer access to outlets for keeping work stations charging if you decide to make Panera your office area for a few hours. The coffee/tea/fountain drinks are "self serve". Also, if you prefer to warm up a pastry, there is a microwave conveniently located below the coffee station. To adhere to CoVid protocols, Panera sends an sms alert when your food is ready for pickup vs using the handheld vibrating alert devices. If you are eating out on a budget, select a 'Value Duet' $5.99 and you choose salad and soup or soup and half sandwhich with free item (baguette, apple or chips) and add on an additional pastry or desert for...
Read moreI went to Panera on April 20th. Half way home I notice my order was not correct, the manager on duty told me the next time I am in the area they would replace my order. On April 24th I went back (with my receipt) and the current manger on duty (Berry) was very nasty and told me he would he would give me a bag of Chips and a Cookie but he was not going to replace my order and that was their policy and I shold not have been told that. I asked him why he would not honor something another manager told me (policy or not?) But he continued to talk to me as if I was in the wrong or as if I was miss treating him in somekind of way.
I drove away and decided that I just would not spend my money at a place that hire people to treat their customers that way. But when I got home I decided to call back and speak with the GM because Bery was going to make them lose a lot of customers if he treats them the way he treated me. But when I called back to get the general manager's name, Berry answered and told me to go to the website if I wanted to know that information and after a few more unprofessional words he hung up on me.
The company policy are the company policy, but when one manger (and I know her name - very nice) says something the other manger should honor that promise and not treat the person who was wrong the way Berry treated me. I was not rude to him so I did not understand why he was treating me this way.
Panera before you loss any more custermers you may want to send Berry back to customer service traing. I did a Berry suggested and went to the website. I did not see the GM's name but I did enter a complaint, but I have not heard back yet. My complaint number on line is...
