Terrible customer service experience today. Employee aggressively told me that my Amazon return could not be returned in the retail box when Amazon’s return instructions didn’t specify this (it was a broken product, so Amazon will not be reselling it). Regardless of who was right, it was one of the most combative customer service experiences in recent memory. Next I had an Apple Repair authorization, which had instructed me to bring my product unpackaged and the authorization slip. She looked at it and immediately said I needed an email. I told her it just said the slip without packaging, and she said there had to be a barcode. I looked up the email, and it said to use the return number, which was at the top of the piece of paper. There was no apology at any point and no thank you. It came in the manufacturer's box, with shipping labels on it. This woman who's working here is vehemently rude & told me that they have to Palletize it so it needs a box, like I'm some sort of an idiot. Single me out in your line of customers. Read moreI visited this store to do my first Amazon return through UPS, after Kohl's could not take back the items. The individual who assisted me, Jon, was incredibly rude. He wanted to charge me $1.00 for a shipping label, and was disrespectful about the fact that I didn't put the items in a box (I didn't know, I figured it was like Kohl's). He charged for the boxes, but the price was reasonable (though it's even cheaper to use a box you already have, contrary to what he said). He had a negative attitude toward my concerns, saying things to the effect of "doesn't matter to me."
