This quaint little chocolate shop is packed to the gills with tasty cheat food that will satisfy any who dare step foot inside.
The chocolate delight was decadent and rich but light enough to not be too weighed down by too much chocolate. The thick drizzle of chocolate frosting was spot on and the cake was moist and fluffy. I am lucky they’re in Georgetown and not closer to me as I’d be a regular and my pants would have a harder time wrapping themselves around me.
The next item I tried was the tiramisu. Light and mocha forward this delightful treat hit all the spots. Much more coffee than I imagined it being and so light and frothy it was heavenly with every bite. My favorite so far.
The fruit tarts were delicious rich and refreshing. I’d love to explore more of these expressions.
Lastly, the cannoli was fantastic. Cream filled chocolate drops littered the filling and had a cool crunch to it that made this flaky pastry all around delicious.
If you’re like me and eating with your eyes for some time just go! Pull the trigger and get this fantastic slice of chocolate heaven...
Read moreI don’t typically leave negative reviews, but I feel like this needs one. I went to Chocomania today to get a Dubai cup. The cup costs $10, which seems a little pricey, but I love Dubai chocolate so I was willing to pay it. This is how I received it (see photo). I asked for a to-go container because it looked like it was overflowing, and I was told there aren’t lids for the cups because the chocolate will harden. She said she could give me a box, but it won’t close. I took one because the chocolate was already dripping down the sides of the cup. The chocolate continued overflowing while on my way home. I’ve had it in the fridge for 30 minutes, and it still hasn’t hardened enough for me to actually pick the cup up without getting chocolate all over my hands. For $10, I would think I would get something that didn’t look like it had already been dropped a few times.
Note: This picture is immediately when I got in the car. The cup has NOT fallen over or anything. This is exactly how I...
Read moreI love to support local but the prices here are bit over the top. I paid 7.50 for this small chocolate s’more that didn’t even have cream on the inside. I understand the cost to run a business is high. A bit of advice would be to try and selling volume for a cheaper price. Business will grow much faster and you will make a lot more money in the long run. I personally won’t be back. As everything in the case was super high. I picked the s’more it wasn’t priced, but I figured considering the size and what it was it would be cheaper than most of the things. I honestly didn’t want to be rude and just walk out like the people in front of us. Although I’m sure you get that alot. Just be mindful that people walk in with the intention of purchasing something. I give this review with love...
