DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH RESIZING YOUR WEDDING SET! I did, after they fixed a necklace for me. I waited two weeks for my rings to be soldered together and sized up 1 size. My husband picked them up for me because I couldn't get there before they closed and paid $300 for this service. I saw them when I got home and immediately started crying! They were no longer aligned with one another, with a noticeable offset, the prongs are no longer straight, of which there are several so this is also very obvious-I'm still not sure why the prongs were touched period, and the designs on the sides of the bands don't match up anymore either!! I took it back the next day, taking off work early to make the trip from Frankfort. The owner is who helped me, I was very upset and talking through tears about having paid $300 for them to ruin my rings! She would not give me my money back, so I could have someone else fix it! She put on her glasses finally to look at my wedding set, and said it looked like "he" had put the band on the wrong side of the engagement ring. To which I explained there shouldn't be a right or wrong side as it was all completely symmetrical before they got them. She still refused to give my money back and talked me into, against my better judgement, giving them the chance to fix it. I came back for them 3 days later and the rings were mostly aligned now but that's all that was fixed. I was beside myself with her complete lack of ownership with the situation, she did not see a problem, even though to be in the jewelry business you should be very detail-oriented. When I asked for my money back again, stating that I now have to have someone else fix their screw up, she said no and that this is how my rings came to them; like I was at fault for their shoddy workmanship! I was so frustrated with the owner's rude attitude and her complete dismissal of what their wrong-doing! Her granddaughter was waiting for her to close the store up, clearly that took priority over a very dissatisfied customer! All I could do was cry and leave since it was closing time! I felt so taken advantage of and quite frankly, swindled! PLEASE take it from me and save yourself the heartache of trusting Cravens and Lewis with anything that you hold dear, they ruined my wedding set, which I still, a year later, have not had the money to go get fixed. I have come to visit Georgetown several times over the last 3 to 4 years but I had never made it to the downtown area. On 7/26/2024 I made it my business to do so. While strolling up E. Main Street the pieces in the window caught my eye and I entered to have a look around.

As I entered the store I heard friendly chatter and I was greeted by a lovely young lady by the name of Jennifer. She was very helpful. She told me what was in each of the cases, about some of the people that made some of the pieces and that certain items were on sale. Her customer service was excellent.

I wasn't looking for anything in particular but a very simple piece caught my eye and for some reason I kept gravitating to it. She mentioned that it had an inscription and those words were true for me. Because of her excellent customer service I did purchase it.

What caused my rating to be what it is... I believe customer service at an establishment should be top priority of every employee at the very least you should smile and be polite. I noticed that the friendly chatter had stopped and the looks from the other ppl in the store wasn't welcoming.
