Food Lion here is completely overwhelmed by the volume of customers that it serves. The employees are really good but this store is the only one in the area so keeping the selves stocked is a never ending task. They are almost always out of something so it is difficult at best to plan your grocery list without alternatives. Pluses are the friendly employees, their efforts at sanitizing their carts and the fresh produce. The downside is the crowds and stock in the aisles as they always are in a constant state of restocking. Visited the store today. It still has a musty smell in the shopping area which at times is overpowering. Some shelves are empty. Choice of chicken cuts is somewhat limited and prices are high on all products. The Food Lion store brand of bread that they package is the worst bread I have ever purchased. It expires very quickly. Bakery products are sub par in quality especially the apple turnovers which had no apple filling in them. I will no longer visit...
