Osaka Japanese Steak House — Restaurant in North Carolina

If I could give no stars, that’s absolutely what this place would get! EVERY time we go in this place we get the same 2 little girls behind the bar twirling thier hair and playing on their cellphones... might I add with a stinky attitude, acting as if we are inconveniencing them because they have to stop and take a order. Honey!! If you don’t like your job there are plenty of people out here that would love to take your place. Instead of worrying about how your hair flips and your 5 inch disgusting nails being done, focus on a education and you wouldn’t be standing there taking food orders. Which I’m not downing anyone that works in a restaurant but these girls act like they DO NOT want to be there period, at all!!! They are the first faces customers see when they walk in and it makes this place look bad when you walk in and see them standing around shooting the bull and tapping they’re nails and playing games this isn’t the salon this is a restaurant. Furthermore after saying all of that, the food is not good the chicken is rubbery and tastes old, the soup is a joke to all soups at any Japanese restaurant! And the salad is a babies bowl of iceberg lettuce doused in ranch no cucumbers no tomatoes to cheese no carrots. Just lettuce and dressing. But keep in mind they want anywhere from $13-$15 for the meal NOT including your drink This place is a joke! Me, my husband and 2 small children (ages 2,4) ate there one night and it was $53 dollars!!! We got nothing special we got what was described ^^^^^^^ above here. Check your sauces, our hot mustard sauce had gone bad, we ordered takeout.. got home & poured sauces on food & mixed up as usual... as soon as I too the first bit I had to spit it out, turned my stomach... I immediately called the Osaka and spoke with Destiny explained and let her know I would like our food remade, she said she would write my name down, after we hung up I realized she didn't get my name.... so I called back again & asked if I could speak to a manager or someone else, I next spoke with Vanessa ... explained and told her the sauce was soured and I hoped they would pull it as it was bad & I wanted them to remake my food, she said they had just closed and she would be there the next day so just ask for her. A little while later I get a call back from Vanessa stating that the "big boss" said that they would give me 10% off only because the food was cooked right and just the sauce was bad... I explained that I knew that but since I had poured their sour sauce over our food that the whole thing needed to be replaced & I knew they were closed but I don't live far & I could bring the food back & the sauces so they could see it... I was told no because they were closed and they would be only be giving 10% off... I hope if you choose to eat there check you food and sauces...

The service is terrible. As soon as we walked in the lady at the front had an attitude. There were 5 of us and we told her we needed a moment to order. She looked at us and very rudely said you still order at the front. Any other time we would come the lady that works after 4 takes us to the table and takes our order. She proceeded to be rude when we went to check out and said we emptied the white sauce container and poured it all over the table when we cleaned up whatever was spilled on the table and was using the bowl and filing the chicken into it. As we were paying she was throwing the receipt onto the counter and having an attitude and proceeded to say we weren’t allowed to come back because we left a mess on the table we told her to go look at the table and see what mess she walked to the table and saw we had cleaned it up and said well you used the whole container of white sauce.
