I was really excited to visit, but it was a disappointing experience. The only positive aspect of my visit was the pastries. I ordered two shots of espresso (I specifically said “two shots”. The cashier/barista made two cups of watery, burnt-tasting coffee. I ordered sponge cake & guava cake. The sponge cake container leaks and syrup was all over the bag and all over my other pastry. The cashier put the cake sideways in the bag , making the situation worse. The cashier didn’t smile, thank me, or try to be friendly at all. In addition, all the empty racks, spilled icing on pastry trays, and all the clutter on the counter made the shop’s atmosphere very uninviting. I would come back only for the pastries but I really love Cuban coffee and used to drink it every day. I’m really sad about today’s visit. I will try to visit again, hopefully on a day the owner is up front instead of the young lady who was today’s cashier. She provided an incredibly poor experience and did not apologize for any of the issues (spilled syrup and wrong coffee order). Note: there is a 3.5% charge for credit cards / debit cards, and you must spend over $5 if you use a card.

YES YES & MORE YES! We took a detour just to came for some Cuban coffee since we do not have any closer to home (1hr 45min away). We walked in for coffee and walked out with Rellentio (cream cheese & guava dessert) AND Pan relleno (stuffed bread (pepperoni & cheese)) Plus a slice of cake we ate before we made it out lol. Definitely worth the stop. Specially if you need some caffeine to help keep you awake on a long drive.

I've been meaning to stop by this place since it opened. What a treat! Tried the sponge cake because it has no gluten in it. This is by no means the glutenous spongecake of my youth, however, it hit all the nostalgic chords as I ate it. Picked up the marange cookies for later also no gluten in that recipe as well. Nice staff, Yummy food, Good prices. I will be back. Hey, do me a solid and like this review if it was helpful

Definitely a decent environment. The clerk was nice an helped me find what I may like. However I will say it's an ACQUIRED taste for sure. Tried the honey bun, 2 different Danish, a carrot cake. Honey bun was very bland an dry. But the bottom was somewhat moist. The danishes were ok, an the carrot cake wasn't really sweet. An dry. I went pretty early in the a.m. thinking they'd be fresh but im assuming they pre make everything. Probably won't be back. But it's definitely worth a try!! You may enjoy more than I did. But I bought 4 different items to try. Just...
