First of all we got a chef salad, which is pretty big salad. They gave us one really small cup of ranch, so I asked for another cup. The waitress informed me it would be a dollar for another really small cup. Strike one. Second. I told the waitress exactly how I wanted my pizza. Pepperoni and mushrooms, well done, toppings over the cheese and extra sauce over the top. The first two were right but no extra sauce on top. One of the waitresses overheard me complaining and told the manager. He came out and said I can see extra sauce under the cheese. I said to him that’s not what I ordered. He said so do you want me to put more sauce on it and put it back in. Remember, the pizza was well done. At that point, the pizza would have been burnt. They offer no discount, nothing. Not even an apology. Then, our waitress was real twitchy and all over the place. I told my wife she was on something. Then my wife went to the bathroom, and was in there for a while. When she came out she said the waitress was in the stall for a while, came out without flushing the toilet, washed her hands and walked out. Hmmmmmm. This place used to be high quality, now there’s none.

I first came across this restaurant during one of my DoorDash deliveries and was immediately intrigued. When I walked in to pick up the order, I asked about the menu for myself, and one of the staff members or maybe the owner—unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name—was so kind and quickly found one for me. His friendliness left a great first impression. I ended up coming back yesterday to try their food, and I ordered a small cheese pizza. It was absolutely delicious! You’d think a simple cheese pizza might be bland, but this one was far from it. To me, a great cheese pizza comes down to the perfect blend of cheeses for flavor, and this place nailed it. The tomato sauce also stood out—it had just the right balance to complement the cheese. I’ll definitely return to try another pizza, maybe with a topping next time. Overall, this is a fantastic Italian spot in the Triad area. I highly recommend giving it a try! Here’s a picture of my pizza and their menu with prices.

I’ve been coming here ever since I was a wee little lad. I’ve always loved the food and I’ve never had anything I don’t like! (minus some foods that I generally can’t stand anywhere) Ciao’s is the only reason I’ll even eat zucchini and eggplant! I like zucchini now but the only way I’ll eat eggplant is if it’s an eggplant parm. (the sub version is really good too 😋) I love this place and the friendliness of the staff, I’m going to keep coming back as long as I have family here! (Even if I don’t have family, if I’m in NC I have to stop by Ciao’s) I attached a picture of the BEST salad I have ever eaten in my life.

I’ve recently moved to North Carolina and this is a place everyone raved about. I actually love the food I think it is really great! I normally get to go food and take it home. Every once in a while we go in to eat service is normally pretty good. I would love to give this place a five star except for our experience last night. My husband and I went to go eat after he got off work late we ordered two simple sandwiches. The waitress came back about 40 minutes later claiming that she forgot to put our order in and she “will take care of it.” So in your mind what does that tell you that she is taking care of my dinner. If She wasn’t going to take care of it we would have left at that point and went somewhere else! After we ate. We went ahead and ordered dessert like we normally do whenever we eat out. She brought us the bill for the entire two sandwiches and desserts. When asking her about why are we getting a bill she said that we still had to pay for it she was confused. We have had the desserts to go so I told her to go ahead and take those off of my bill when we were waiting to have a new check brought to us the manager stop by. He asked if everything was OK and we told him that it was not and started explaining what happened that she said she was going to take care of it. He asked since she was taking care of it “you decided to get dessert?” I was going to explain to him that I was more than willing to pay for the desserts but I was not going to pay for the sandwiches as the fact that she said she was going to take care of it. But normal restaurants if you waited over an hour and 15 minutes for your food and then when it came out it was cold which I’ve never had that experience here everything is always been fresh and hot. The manager walked away from my table before I could even finish saying what I was saying about paying for the Desert! I have never been treated this way here and he has definitely lost our business we come here at least once to twice a week every week due to the fact it is right by our house! I feel very disrespected very hurt by what he did by not even taking the time to listen to what I was saying as he was walking away he just shook his hand at me like I was supposed to leave his restaurant and...

The service has been deteriorating over the last several months. The good waitstaff is berated and they eventually leave. The current servers are not up to the standards of the past with Ciao. One server charged our credit card for someone else's order. How does that happen when we are given trays with the tickets??? One server, Ken, is a joke. I have had the displeasure of having his service in the past and said I would never do it again. Last night, we were seated and guess who the server was...Ken. I had to asked for an extra glass of ice three times before receiving. I ordered no ranch with the fried zuchinni and he delivered with the ranch on the plate. Before I could say anything, he then apologized that he realized I ordered it without dressing and removed it once the plate was in front of me. Really?? When I cut into my baked potato, it was obviously from the earlier lunch or the night before. If you see a baked potato that is not fluffy white, but discolored and hard, it is not fresh. Really??? The same issues happened once before with Ken and I decided just to ignore it and not accept him as our server. Management does not care about customer service or requests. Watch out for the pricing. The menu listings are in cash prices, but the ticket will come out with credit card prices with the cash discount price listed separately. What a technique to confuse the customer. I will not be back and will tell my story to anyone that I asks for a restaurant recommendation. Convenience and good food are lost in the service. I gave Ciao several "second" chances over the last couple of months thinking it was me. It was not and again will...

First of all, Virginia was my waitress and she was wonderful. I ordered a sub that came with soup and drink. I have ordered this many times before. Let me say that they weren't extremely busy and were loud in the kitchen as usual. I asked for my cup of soup to be brought first because I like to eat my soup or salad before my main course so it doesn't get cold. When I didn't get it, the waitress came out of the kitchen and told me they told her that I couldn't have my soup first because it came with the meal special. What has that got to do with it? I got my tea first and it came with the meal. To me, this was totally ridiculous and whatever happened to accomodating a customer. She was told by someone in the back, which I overheard him say, he would be out in a minute because I requested to speak with someone. No one ever came out. The waittrss came back and ask if anyone ever came and I told her to just charge me for my tea and that I was leaving. She went back to the kitchen and came back with my soup. In less than 2-3 minutes another girl brought my sub, which sat there getting cold why I ate my soup. Tell me where the customer service is in that. I drove by multiple restaurants to come here from Burlington. Thank you Virginia for providing good customer service. Obviously something that is severely lacking in the kitchen staff. Most likely I...
