Target — Local services in Gig Harbor

I made a large purchase online with my debit card for some clothing for my daughter, first time shopping with Target. It took forever for items to slowly ship out (and charge my account, which meant charges trickled in making it difficult to see what i was actually being billed for.) Shipping took forever, Many items were late but eventually after nearly 3 weeks, the whole order came in. I had to return a few pieces at my local store as even tho they were sized for a child, they were so large they fit my adult mother who wears a size 18. I was very irritated when I went to return them that my order was processed as a credit transaction even tho I paid with a debit card. Meaning I would not get my refund for quite some time. I always pay with debit because I like that the charges to come out instantly and if there's any returns, I can get my cash back instantly instead of waiting for Target to send it to my bank and my bank to process it. I was offered store credit but honestly this whole thing has been a nightmare I cant say I will EVER willingly shop or order anything from Target. I was also charged a bag fee for the 2 items that I had to pick up as there was no option to ship, even tho I brought my own bag in. It was only 5cents but I still think they should have waved that when I picked up the 2 items instore. I spent about 10 minutes in the store walking around and looking at things, many of the items I was looking for were out of stock with big holes in the shelves. Saturday 8/2 Pharmacy sold me item at 1:23pm. Turned around and grabbed another item I forgot.Literally right behind me in the shelf....20seconds max.

At 1:24 ....she refused to sell me the 2nd item claiming she was closed for lunch. The hours are closed Pharmacy at 1:30. They closed 5min early and it's insulting to a customer when they claim they are closed after only moving 5ft from the counter and returning within the hours of operations 20secomds later.

This is absolutely unacceptable to refuse sales 5min before closing, there were no other customers,management should review the video and watch how their employees behave. This is why people order everything online and find other places to go.....because management doesn't correct this behavior and people are tired of the silly games.

I would terminate this employee,not because it was a mistake, but because it was a blatant disregard for hours,customer service,and just plain lazy. Employees like this cost companies more than would ever want to pay and most companies don't even know because customers just don't come back or complain because it's a waste of time when that same employee doesn't care and will continously subject customers to such silly games. Target is merely a convenience for us,but there is nothing particular about it,we can just as easily make the stop pretty much anywhere else and now we will. I like this place a thousand times more than Wallfarts. Yes some things may be 5 to 10 percent more expensive but the quality is also much much better. For example the Canopy brand furniture that is sold both here and the other place already mentioned cost about 10 percent more here. However if you check the stock numbers and go to the Canopy website they are the same model but made with different materials. The one sold at Walfarts for 10 percent less is made of cheap aluminum zinc alloy. While the one sold here is made of high grade 440 steel. Also the cheaper one is made of 20lb rated particle board while the more expensive one is made of 150lb rated press board. So yes it may cost 10percent more but you get a much better product. Another example is Docker and Wrangler pants sold at both places but here it's sold for 10 percent more however take a close look at it. They are double stitched and thicker fabric the other place is noticeably thinner and single stitched. Again you may be paying 10 percent more than walfarts to shop here but the cost is worth it because you get a much better and much higher quality product. If I have a choice I will always choose Target...
