Review of this facility is a 5. Review of the specific employee, Foster, is a 0 star. Thus averaging to a 3 overall. I run a large business. If Foster were my employee, he would not work for me after today. No customer focus. He would not accept an Amazon return because it wasn’t in the original Amazon shipping box. The return option selected with Amazon did not require the original box, so long as it was in a box. I explained I selected the option without the manufacturer box and showed him. He said the third bullet point on the return should say it requires it. I showed him he’s thinking of a different option since the third bullet point says “Take the package to The UPS Store. Store hours are subject to change due to COVID-19 precautions, please confirm opening hours before proceeding.To find your closest location, visit The UPS Store locator.” The second bullet point says “Boxes should be packed and sealed before dropping off at The UPS Store location or packaging charges may apply.” I packed it in a box. He said it wasn’t the “original box”. Nowhere on the return form does it say original. Even though not original, he was willing to sell me a single box to pack it in for $30. $30 for a box? He said my box says “customer packed” so I had to do that route. I explained that I am the customer and I packed it and taped it. Serious attitude and no focus on the customer. I realize this Amazon return doesn’t sell product for the customer, but I am in this UPS Store usually 3-4x a week doing transactions for the business I’m CEO of. Read moreHave been going to this location for Amazon returns and mailing out USPS packages, never had any issues with the employees until a couple of days ago. I was returning an Amazon purchase and selected no box or label, but still wanted to return in person and get a receipt as I always have done. Front counter Employee kept suggesting for customers to use kiosk to return packages instead of him wanting to give continued customer service. If we wanted to do our own printing and packaging we would have done so and dropped off the package(s). It’s called Personal Customer Service and Job Security instead of having computer customer service. Very disappointing. Even though I did not have a shipping label or a piece of paper that has a scan tag, I did have shipping scan tag on my Amazon account. Cashier did not appreciate that process. Not to mention just because I wanted to deal with the Cashier Employee I was giving attitude and silence when I said thank you and have a good day. Absolutely no response back. If you are an employee at any business take pride in what you do and don’t be so lazy. Society these days rely too much on technology and always find ways to go around not having to do there job.
Update on my review as of 9/7/2025 The employee who is a male African American who never wears his name badge once again puts a negative review on this UPS Store. Had my son drop off a usps package and requested my son to make sure he got a receipt. Employee had my son just drop the package in the drop off box and told my son he cannot provide receipts. I'd like to call specifically with a multiple star assistance, Alex Foster. She not only confirmed all of the correct information for the returns my wife asked me to do for her but she also provided detailed information on shipping time for a package going to my family members for their birthday celebration. She remained calm and collected as I had to navigate through the items my wife passed off to me in a hurry to be processed for returns. Despite some of the items not having the correct barcode information, she allowed me the necessary time between customers to call my wife and work through with her the correct information for the appropriate product returns. Alex embodies elements of customer service from active listening to excellent closure on specific needs that my visit revolved around. All UPS location service personnel were as effective as Alex, I'm sure the UPS stores across the board would be setting records daily.
