Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Gig Harbor

I had the most bizarre interaction with a delivery driver who delivered my pizza this evening. Before she had even handed me my pizza she says to me “cash tip?”. Which is an uncomfortable thing to ask a customer at their front door. I was taken back by this and said excuse me she then repeated herself “are you tipping with cash?”. I let her know I had tipped on my card and it was on the receipt, which I now regret tipping at all. She rolled her eyes as she walked away and stated “I never got a tip”. For one you are not entitled to a tip you drove 7 minutes from the store and handed me a box. You have an hourly wage to perform your job duty’s. Although I have worked in the service industry and I do tip all my delivery drivers. I confirmed when looking at my receipt that a tip was in fact left for her via my debit card. The online ordering was simple to follow no glitches and very clear. When I called to confirm that I had done the online order correctly this employee was very polite and took time to confirm everything. Delivery was as scheduled and again polite and attentive. That I would give a 5 star for.

The 2 stars is not the store or employees fault. My w stars are for the cooperates who make the decisions on what and how the make the pizza's. They have to follow specific instructions on how much to put for each serving.

This store doesn't accept the posted online prices. You go online to order off the menu, then they quote you a price several dollars more than expected. An employee said the owner doesn't feel the need to honor the prices online, even though you can order online through the Pizza Hut site. To the owner: get off your high horse. Your pizza hut isn't somewhere special; it's in a strip mall. Either honor the prices quoted online, or start you own website with the prices you want to charge.
