Ooo man, okay, so I was treated to the crumbs of a couple that my buddy had got his hands on. Of course, the giant pink box, the rotating plethora of different flavors on any given day and let's not forget, the fact that these are some giant decadent cookies, I'm talking two hands, has me hooked. When you step inside the bakery you are at first greeted with a very clean, very modern, very minimal front area. There are no gimmicks or frills decorating the place, it struck me as almost sterile, like a chrome doctor's waiting room. But after registering the decor you will notice a giant display board on one wall with a few flat screen monitors set up on a table beneath. The display is showing their classic chocolate chip as well as whichever 5 other cookies are up in the rotation that day. You then use a monitor to place your order and even pay then if you would like. Within 5 mins of placing our order I had my giant pink box in hand and was still reeling from the dent in my wallet, think $5 cookies and that pink box? Gonna set you back about $25. But oh man, if you've got disposable income atm I would Def recommend spending it on...
Read moreOMG, the stuff they make here is wonderful. I can personally vouch for chocolate chip cookies, key lime tartlet, and double brownie brownie. A half of any one of them is plenty for a dinner dessert for an adult. A whole is almost too much. They aren't cheap, but wow, they sure are good. Update 6/4/2025, went back to use the rest of my gift card, and sad to say, not so good this time. Got 2 choc chippers, an oreo thing in a little pie pan, and a brownie cookie with tiny little colored choc chips on it. The choc chip cookie I ate was stale and dry, tasted like it was a week old, and the salt on top wasn't crunchy- more like kinda slimy. It tasted like it was made with cheap shortening! I'm tossing the other one. The oreo thing in the pie pan had whipped cream, or should I say "creme," cuz it wasn't fresh or real, I don't think, and there wasn't much to the rest of it. Haven't tried the last cookie yet, not sure if I want to. What a disappointment after that first experience...I won't be going back after this.... one star...
Read moreHopelessly overpriced, gritty & hard, bland cookies. We were given a gift card to Crumbl, and I feel bad for the gifter because it was such a waste of money. These are TREND cookies, the ones +some people+ buy so they can brag about how much they paid for a dozen cookies, or leave a Crumbl box on their counter to impress visitors with what a bunch of sheep they are.
I think the biggest issue with the Crumbl company is that they actually believe their own hype. Crumbl Cookies is suing smaller competitors, such as Crave and Dirty Dough, claiming their brands and packaging are too similar to Crumbl's. 1: It's a COOKIE in a BAKERY BOX. 2: It comes in a rotating variety of flavors. 3: It uses "super-secret" recipes. ahem If Crumbl is using those criteria to sue their mom & pop competitors (real classy, Crumbl) then they'd better be watching their backs because Mrs Field's & Famous Amos are...
