The extensions are beautiful and the install was done nicely, however they FRIED my real hair by over processing it and putting me under heat with lightener when the product they use says on the label DO NOT USE HEAT. I lost half of the hair on my head that took me YEARS to grow out, lost at least 5 inches and all the volume. I paid them over $1,000 to destroy my hair and when I call to try to talk to a manager I can't even get a call back. I was crying when they took my extensions out for a move up and realized they destroyed my hair and masked it with the extensions and didnāt say a word. Based on other reviews, this is very common. Horrible customer service when they know they did wrong. I was referred by another hair stylist that trusted this salon and I wish I had the reviews prior to coming. I spent 6+ hours in there getting my hair colored, paying them a few thousand dollars over two visits and they RUINED my hair. After speaking to multiple people I know, they had the same experience with their hair being fried by this salon. I normally don't leave reviews, but I would trust the bad reviews on this one... you can't just get your hair back quickly when someone completely chemically damages it. Not to mention nobody has called me back or tried to make anything right. This salon should be reported to the state. They also make you sign paperwork before they work on you (not a good sign) I've never had to sign waivers anywhere I've ever gotten my hair done. They ruined YEARS of hard work i did on my hair and it's clear from the photos they don't care at all about doing what's best for the client or your natural hair. Not to mention you are ignored when youāre asked to speak to a manager. BEWARE.
I am Posting my natural hair before I went to Habit, and what they did to it and how it looked after ONE time of them putting lightener on me. I am devastated. The photo with my hair long and dark is my natural hair before going to habit salon⦠the after is the chemically damaged picture with thinned hair and jagged edges where you can tell i lost my hair where it was treated with lightener by Habit. This happened after one visit and they did not do a thing to address it. Instead, the owner Chrissy told my previous hair stylist āwell it sounds like you should continue to do her hair insteadā very alarming for the owner of a āhigh endāsalon charging thousands. This place is a money grab for poor training and customer service.
Also one of the owners commented on a Facebook post where i DID NOT call them out.. was just asking for help on how to restore my hair how and she decided to put her two cents in. This is what she had to say.. photo below. She laughed in my face and said itās not damaged and to just cut my hair.
These people DO NOT CARE about your natural hair and what they do to it and will take zero responsibility if they mess it up. PLEASE CONSIDER...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me start with saying -I have never written a review before!!!! I am 40 year old woman -who have been bleaching her hair for 20 years! I was beyond excited to visit this salon. Iāve read all the reviews and chose Stacie ( to color my hair) because of her good feedback! Well that was not the case today! Its not even close to being enjoyable experience! It was horrific. The bill that i paid was 780$, and it would have been fine if everything was perfect! It was not. It was a horrible experience. Stacie was so condescending and her demeanor was simply bad towards me. You would think if paying top dollar the service will be as well top. NOPE - not even close -she was talking to me like a child , at one point at the end she even said āyou beed to listen to me ā -like excuse me. Not even once did she even try to ask just a small talk questions. But let me say ,she was fascinated and jumping in other clients conversations with older women. Maybe i did not look the part. Maybe i didnāt look wealthy enough. And when it came time for her to cut my hair - it took not more than 5 mins -that was also beyond bad of a job. How can any self respecting stylist cut a her for 5 mins. What kind of a womanās haircut is 5 mins. She was more interested in knowing what time it was and when was her next appointment! I can keep going on and on about the bad experience and simply a bad hair colorist , but a picture is worth a 1000 words. I would never recommend this place! Quite the opposite....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've seen Brittany Hernandez (hairbybrittah) as my stylist since I was 24 or so and I'm now 37. I'm never disappointed with my cut or color as long as she does my hair. I've got from short bobs to long and super highlighted, balayage, blonde, brown, etc. I highly recommend her. There are a few different Brittany's at this salon so any of these bad reviews about a "Brittany" can no way be about her. I just would never believe it. She is the only reason I started going to Habit because she started working there a couple years back. I would drive over an hour to get my hair done by her if I had to. My advice to all these bad reviewers is to find a stylist you love and not focus on booking with a "salon" itself. I for one know Brittany Hernandez is an amazing choice but she only works twice a week, but 100% worth it to work around her schedule! Also, call the salon to book with someone specific. I never have an issue booking all my appointments by calling the salon directly. My own stylist doesn't always have the time to respond to my messages through social media or texts and I've been seeing her forever. I never take it personally. She is the sweetest and nicest person and we've really grown a level of friendship over the years. It's always a treat to see her and a huge plus to leave with amazing hair every time. I'm also not your typical blonde habit client either. No extensions either. Just a regular ol'...
