With excellent help, we put in our order. As it was overly warm in their dinning area, we chose take out and ate in our truck. My wife waited in the cool truck while I watched 2 people come in 5 minutes apart, order, get their order and leave. Maybe my order takes more---NOT. I got the order with several of both salsas. I was prepared for a tasty meal. I noticed the bag was light compared to same money for food at Filbertos, a lot light. We got tostada style "tacos" with a different meat on each. All 4 looked exactly the same and tasted the same. The yelow corn looking tortilla was burned to carbon around the edges and a few other places. I was hungry so I tore in, not tasting. After two bites i settled in to enjoy this different style. Meat, a little cheese (which we paid extra for), hard crunchy tortilla and an average tomatillo salsa. Their hot salsa was bitter/sweet and smoky-- not interested. I am 6' 3" part Scottish and American Indian. The Scot part is easy to see, the Indian is not. Our meals were simple to prepare. Tortilla, already prepared meat, cream avacado? sauce and 2 pinches of cheese times 4. This is not the first place to discriminate against me. While working my way through their tostada making sure not to break a tooth I watched their customers. White-waite, not white-in and out. If they want a certain clientele, fine, I have no desire to go back. There are meals that send my blood pressure through the roof. The ingredients of this meal normally makes it rise modestly. I was ready and compensated. Nope, it is 24 hours later and I am still working on my blood pressure Bottom line- the food tasted okay to good, the texture was poor, the greeting staff who helped with our order were great but I will never forget the bites flavored of carbonized...

I grew up going to Mexico to eat tacos in Tijuana, and I must say that these are very authentic Tijuana style street tacos. The first time I tried these tacos, it immediately brought back memories of the flavors and experience of eating my first street tacos in Tijuana. Every time I’ve been here the place is busy. My favorite thing here is probably there Vampiros. A vampiro is a tostada shell with some cheese melted on it, and then taco meat placed on top of it with onions, cilantro and salsa on top. It taste like a good street taco with some crunch in it. So good! You might want to also try another Tijuana favorite here, the Mulita. It’s a street taco turned into a sandwich. Carne Asada or al Pastor, melted cheese, onions, cilantro, and salsa between two corn tortillas. Also, very good and very filling! Their quesadillas are also very tasty here. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Some of my favorite items are: Carne Asada or Al Pastor Vampiro ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Carne Asada street taco ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Al Pastor street taco ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Carne Asada or Al Pastor Mulita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My guide on how I use the 5 star system: ⭐️ = Not good ⭐️⭐️ = Not terrible, but would not get again ⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Solid, but I’d try something else before this again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Really liked it! You should try this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Loved it! Must try I’ll make adjustments to my ratings after subsequent visits. If you see a .3 or .7 it means: .3 = Wasn’t as good the 2nd or last time I tried it .7 = This was better the 2nd or last...

First and last time here. I'm not usually someone to complain when it comes to poor service but this was bad. Walked in and the cashier whose name is Vale just stood there and stared at us. Didn't say hello or even smile. There was one person who ordered in front of me and one family waiting for their food and it took 20 minutes for us to get 6 tacos. THE MEAT IS ALREADY COOKED!!! HOW HARD IS IT TO MAKE SOME TACOS WITH EVERYTHING ALREADY READY FOR YOU?!? Mind you they had at least 4 or 5 people working. Lastly, my mom expressed to Vale that she's very allergic to guacamole and asked for them not to put it on the tacos. We ordered to go and they decided it was a good idea to put them in the same container. I called as soon as I opened the box to look at them. Spoke to Wendy and all she did was apologize. She didn't offer to fix the what they did or give me my money back. All she could say was "I've told them and we don't usually do that." I don't care what usually happens. It didn't happen this time the right way so fix the mistake. Nothing. The food wasn't even good. Very dry. Will NEVER come back here and will tell everyone I know to stay away from horrid...

For Friday night family night we went to Tacos Tijuana. The location in Mesa just opened and I was excited because as an avid taco consumer, I have been hearing about them. We entered their little shop on Greenfield at about 6pm and it was already pretty busy. People we’re ordering to-go and to eat there. We got in line. I noticed that they were making their tortillas by hand which is always a great sign. The menu only has a few item which I love. Keep it simple. We ordered 2 carne asada on corn and 2 on flour with everything. A vampiro and a quesadilla with carne for the boy, Riancito. They came in about 10-15 minutes and the result was amazing. The carne was tender, fresh just salty enough. The hand made corn tortillas were my favorite although I generally like flour. They were thick but light and a good taste. The flour tortillas were thin and soft but strong enough to contain all the ingredients. The vampiro was crunchy and delicious. Although full, I had to go back for another round. I tried the Al Pastor and it was seasoned so deliciously. I could taste the cinnamon and yerbas. I would recommend this place. 5 stars. We will be returning for sure.
