There were two employee girls when we arrived at the Gladstone T-Mobile store on Aug 27 at about 4:00 pm. Both were unaccommodating about giving help on transferring data from the old phone to the new. They told us to do it ourselves but we are the seniors not easy to learn the new comm technology. We tried to suggest to have help to other stores, but they claimed that every store can not help because everywhere have internet network problem and seeking help from different stores will fail us to our expectation. Their best solution is for us to go home and use our own internet. We determined not to have success by doing the data transfer so we have to try going to nearby store to implement the initial steps to complete the phone functionality. The Vietnamese manager and subordinate employee strongly imply to pass the ball on us the customer. We saw the worst customer service and the lazy/selfish help. That is our opinion. However, we ended up of having satisfactory help from 82nd Happy Valley T-Mobile store by about closing time...
Read moreInitially my 1st visit was a nightmare because Elder, the manager, was a rude jackass. He is a very poor representative for T Mobile. He yelled at me across the store without knowing any of my circumstances, it was upsetting and resolved absolutely nothing so I went home and called T Mobile. They were aghast at his behavior and assured me that actions would be taken. Everything was video recorded supporting my claims, justifying my concern and reason for calling Corporate. Returned the next day when Elder wasn't there and had a phenomenally good experience, go figure? The staff was helpful and completely resolved all of my concerns, specifically Brad and Ariyana.
That said, Elder should NOT be working directly with customers if he's going to be rude and nasty. It was a breath of fresh air having others assist me and not once was I chastised for anything. Elder is hideous and as stated earlier, he shouldn't be the first face customers meet because his professionalism is...
Read moreI was advised by my t Mobile chat to come into a store to verify the condition of my phone. Before I could finish telling the staff what chat had said, they cut me off and said they couldn't help. They didn't look up my account, didn't even ask my name. Amy at the store just said that they never recommend anyone buy my phone because it has problems and they can't do anything. Amy was rude and dismissive. Had she let me finish she would have seen in my record the notes by corporate and could have assisted. I was later helped by the corporate 1-800 number. The corporate phone call was 100 times better, more empathetic, and fixed the problem. Amy and the other staff working at about 2pm on a Saturday in this store were not helpful or kind at all, with not a single other customer in the store . I felt like they just wanted me to leave. I usually love T-Mobile customer service, NOT...
