Went in randomly on a rainy afternoon, the customer service was excellent. The clerks, whom I assume were most likely the owners were sitting down and having their lunch break. The lady was kid enough to stop mid meal and get my meal going right away once I decided what I wanted. Ordered the drunken noodle and I will say I was pleasantly satisfied. The meal came out fast and I was on my way within 3 or 4 minutes. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, not soggy. The noodles and sauce were tasty and they matched my spice request perfectly. Great food, would recommend!

This is the spot. I moved to the area from the West side and gave this a try earlier this year. I now go at least twice a week. My wife loves the Yum Woon Sen which she says is the closest recipe to what she remembers having in Thailand. I go for the Stir Fried Eggplant; a common entree at all Thai restaurants but Thai Express’ recipe is unmatched. Well, you’ve convinced me, I’m going there for lunch today👌🏼

Hi Neighbors. You should give this place a try! It’s pleasantly good. I lived in Thailand before and was surprised their menu had so many authentic options. We tried yellow curry, larb, and basil crispy chicken. They were all tasty and also authentic. Give it a try! You’ll like it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down the BEST Thai food in the Portland area!

We’ve been coming to Su Thai Express for quite a while now, and every single visit has been exceptional. We’ve tried over 10 Thai restaurants across the Portland area, and nothing else even comes close—this place is on a whole different level. The food is consistently flavorful, high quality, and made with clear attention to detail!

We always order takeout, and the portions are huge—we end up with plenty of leftovers, which we actually look forward to just as much as the main meal. Their prices are incredibly fair for the amount and quality of food you get. The yellow curry has been our go-to for years and is still the best we’ve ever had. This is one of their best dishes due to its rich, flavorful, satisfying taste! A few other dishes that really stand out here in comparison to the same dishes elsewhere are their Pad Thai, Orange Chicken, Crap Rangoons, Spicy Chicken, and Mango Sticky Rice. We add at least three of our favorites to our order on top of the yellow curry with pineapple every time lol!

The customer service is always great—friendly, fast, and professional. The owner is generous, polite, and clearly passionate about the food and the experience. Even before they reopened, I was a loyal customer, and somehow they’ve gotten even better since.

My boyfriend is an executive chef and extremely particular when it comes to food—he’s been told by many in the industry that he’s the best chef they’ve worked with. He raves about Su Thai too, and that says a lot. We’ve tried at least half the menu by now and haven’t had a single complaint.

They recently received the “Best of Oregon City 2025” certificate, as you will see it hung up inside their restaurant, and honestly, it’s so well-deserved. This is a gem of a place tucked right off I-205. The dine-in ambiance isn’t anything fancy, but we always do takeout and are more than happy with that. Su Thai Express is a true hidden treasure—we’re lucky to...

The Su Thai Food Truck was our 'go to' when my son was an in-patient at OHSU in 2020 . Following his discharge, we continued to frequent the business, after out-patient medical appointments, until the truck was no longer in the area. The food was consistently fresh, healthy, delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Su Thai was something we looked forward to. We were excited to try Su Thai Express for the first time yesterday when we were in Oregon City. Sad to say, our food was extremely disappointing. My Teriyaki Chicken had a rubbery consistency as if it had been cooked and then reheated in a microwave. Thai Basil Fried Rice was overcooked. Granted our food order was 'to go', but the presentation and overall quality of our meals left much to be desired in comparison to what we enjoyed from Su Thai in the past. Maybe we shall give it one more try but, unfortunately, we are both...

The only thai place worth going to in Oregon City imo. Their Pad See Ew is amazing and they DELIVER when I ask for spicy! I wish I had gotten his name, but I had explained to an older fellow who works there that I am often denied my order of hot or extra hot at thai places because they don't think I can handle it. He gave me a sly smile and said, "Oh, we can make you cry." That meal did and I loved it and the flavour was still phenomenal. My favourite place to go to, my only complaint is they're not open on sundays. But I have gone out of my way many times to get a meal from here because it is my favourite spot...
