I’ve shopped here so many times and each time I spend close to $1000 each time. I came in yesterday with some items to return that didn’t work out for me and I was told I was passed the return policy. She was being picky and choosey about what she said she could let me exchange for. She said everything was out of season but I purchased in March-April. And all of the items were spring/summer. It’s not like they were fall/winter items. I even saw them in the store on the rack still. The one item I really wanted to return was free people overalls. I bought a size medium and I wanted a large and they had them in like 3 other colors in store. I wasn’t allowed to exchange for a bigger size and I am honestly shocked because there were so many in the store in my size. She said the “color” was out of season but I purchased April 14th. It was a sage green color. There was a brown color on the rack and to me - that’s more out of season than the sage green. I told her my concerns because of the sizing and she said “I’m not going to return them, because it’s not worth losing my job over”. Crazy statement. She was saying she was the “acting manager” last night and was definitely throwing her weight around. She even made a point to stamp “final sale” 3 times on my exchange receipt and then highlight the return policy as if to rub it in my face that I’m “in the wrong”. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this store and I always keep everything I buy with a few exceptions. If this is how good customers are treated then I don’t want to come back. I now have too small overalls I spent $150 on and can’t wear them. I have no choice but to go sell them. I didn’t realize I was passed the return policy. I live really far from this store and I work full time as a teacher so I haven’t had much time to come in and return stuff. That’s not at the top of my priority list. I’m not saying I should get special treatment but like I said, I have spent thousands here. You would think a small family business would understand that and at least give me another size. They’re not losing out on any money by exchanging. And I would’ve come back and spent more money but now I don’t think I will. I felt like crying right there in the store because the “acting manager” was so rude to me and treated me like an idiot for not reading the return policy. She said “The return policy is on the receipt so you could’ve read it”. I’m done with this store. I’ll spend my money where it’s...
Read moreAt this point its discrimination…I have many years of experience in retail and one thing I’ve or the clothing companies I’ve worked for is throw people out just simply because those seats are remained for “shopping customers”. WHAT KIND OF RULE IS THAT. My son always goes into that because he thought the ambience was nice and simply just waits for whatever he’s waiting for. There’s hardly any people that come into that store at the times he goes because he works early. There is enough seats in that store for other customers to seat at. Your not really sorry your just racist because you see a black person sitting in your store and you automatically think they’re trying to steal or something else. NO ONE SHOULD BE SHOPPING AT THIS STORE. My son told me the hispanic lady is rude and he gets looks from the staff whenever he walks in there. THE DISCRIMINATION NEEDS TO STOP ITS 2025. You guys need to change that rule even if the person isn’t most people are allowed to wait in stores if it’s a public place. THE RACISM IN 2025 FROM YOU GUYS NEED TO STOP! You guys made my son feel like he did something wrong. Horrible store, horrible and bigoted staff and you guys need to reevaluate your core mottos for your operation. Horrible, just horrible. My son should be allowed to go into that store regardless if he’a buying something or not and be able if he needs to wait for something he should have the freedom to sit in that store. You guys are racist, bigoted,...
Read moreHello, I’m writing this because me and my family are new to the area. My son comes in there to sometimes wait for the bus because he works and doesn’t cause any problems just sits on the couch and is on his phone and waits for the bus. He recently was saying that feels like they aren’t welcoming. It is clear what the issue is and I’m very disappointed by hearing what my son has experienced. It’s 2025, you guys should be more welcoming of everybody especially when you guys make it seem like it’s a welcoming environment. The prejudice is unacceptable we’re in 2025 and the fact that we still have to have a conversation about telling people to not treat someone differently is ridiculous. Do better of having a store environment where EVERYONE is welcomed. Very disappointed...
