Cowtown Skateboards — Local services in Glendale

11/05/20 - Visited today, approx. 11:30am. First time going there so I called to ensure they could help find a beginner board. They were kind and said come on in. This store is as laid back as you'd expect for a group of folks into skateboarding. No pressure to buy and no up-selling. This is not a toy store and appeared to be well stocked with all things needed for beginners to more advanced riders. Brenna (sp?) has excellent customer service skills, helping us find a good beginner board and pads. She made sure my 12 yo daughter was comfortable on the board and that we were purchasing the right sized pads. Will happily go back to Cowtown to buy my son's 1st board and hope to see Brenna again. Keep up the great work Cowtown! Side note: Foothills skatepark is next to the store. It was clean and had maybe a dozen people skating.

12/23/20 - Zack helped find a great board for my 10 yo son today. Got to see Brenna again and she was as kind and helpful as the last time. These are real people who know what they're talking about. I bought these shoes, online, from cow town and got shipped to my house. I decided I would never wear them and went to return them. The guy at the desk told me I cannot return Nike shoes. It says nothing about that on the receipt, it only mentions a time frame. He called a manager, the manager also said no. I explained my case of the receipt again, he proceeded to call the owner, the owner said no. I even tried exchanging it. How can the owner, herself, not honor the what’s on the receipt?!? I went in the store looking to buy new vans, some gear and a tool for my board. Almost immediately upon enter I was approached by a member of the staff. I didn't think to ask for her name, but she was very friendly, informative and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. While waiting to cash out, there was another member of the staff who seemed just as willing to help out.
