Worst Mexican food in Glendale! I'll be real honest I crave Mexican food all the time and love to try new places! They have surprisingly good reviews so we figured we would check it out. Right when you walk in the place reeks of fryer oil which you leave there smelling like if you sit in there and eat, it's gross. It doesn't smell like yummy Mexican food. We ordered a taco plate and an enchilada plate. The pork is decent but the food overall is terrible, there rice and refried beans were awful tasting. My food was cold, which is a huge pet peeve for me! The enchiladas tasted like refrigerator temperature none of the cheese on the inside of any of the enchiladas was even melted. Wish we could get our money back! They must be paying for their reviews! Needless to say we won't be back...

We've been eating here for years and love it! I've had everything on the menu...and some things they were patient enough to special order for me. You're standing right there so you can customize your order. I've had two of my kids work here so you'd think they would get tired of eating there. On the contrary, they loved it while working there and still do. They know the place is clean and love the taste and staff. We often use Cafe Rumba as a meeting place for family and friends. Arasely, I don't know why you would give only two stars, but I personally love the mango salsa. You need to come back so you can rate based on more than one experience. "Chipotle style" restaurant where you pick your ingredients and they build your item in front of you. Ordered the Rumba Salad (Fresh cooked flour tortilla bowl filled with your choice of meat, beans, rice, corn, leafy greens topped with cheese, salsa, and tortilla strips. Roasted tomatillo ranch or cilantro lime vinaigrette served on the side) Tortilla was regular Tortilla like they use for the burrito so it's not a fried shell, wife enjoyed it. I got the Enchiladas (3 corn tortillas rolled up with your choice of meat. Smothered in red or green sauce with rice and beans) with Shredded Beef and red sauce, was really good.
