I’ve been coming to this barber college for over a year to support students as they develop their skills, but today was a major disappointment. My assigned barber, Jacob, seemed far more focused on flirting with the instructor Abbey than on doing his job. He was visibly upset when she took his phone away for using it during my haircut—something that should never have been happening in the first place. What made the experience even worse was his use of foul language throughout the appointment. As someone who doesn’t curse, I found it deeply uncomfortable and unprofessional.
To top it off, after an entire hour in the chair, Jacob still didn’t manage to cut my hair the way I asked.
