If I could give zero stars I would. I have never been so blatantly disregarded as a new customer before, and, with the amount of time I had to spend settling the issue, it just makes the entire situation that much more regrettable. I could not have predicted that with the extremely limited amount of time slots online, no phone number or email available to contact the store/baker directly, they must stay busy so surely the order would have been completed on time as shown in the photos. I had needed the order to be ready by Sunday morning, so I decided to place an order on Tuesday evening for the lemon blueberry muffins 9pk. I paid in full and an additional 10 percent tip was added, to support the business. The total was $48.28 including the $4.05 tip. The online slot showed Saturday at 1PM I could have my order ready by, so I scheduled it. I show up to the bakery in downtown Glendale and it was just before 1 PM when I walked inside. I asked for my order from a young lady and she had no idea I had an order placed. She did immediately text the baker I presumed and spoke with him on the phone. They offered whatever excuse they could(forgetting to set them aside/usually they have more/etc) and said the baker would be doing something extra special to make up for their mistake. They asked me what time I needed the order by, I said between 8 or 9 in the morning, they agreed. It is now Sunday and make it there by 8:50/8:55 AM and the shop is locked up with the open sign turned off. I peer inside and knocked. Over walked the young lady I saw the day before but she did not look happy to see me. Her greeting was not really welcoming and she wouldn’t make eye contact so I knew something was wrong. The baker was working and was called over. He greeted me and told me at this point, my order is “still in the oven” and he offered me cookies for delaying my order further. I did not get an eta and I had no proof they were even in the oven. My time wasn’t being valued. The efforts I made to come back and forth to pick up an order I placed days ago. There is a clear understanding that a mistake has already been made and the baker chose to continue to abuse my flexibility and still not have the order ready on time. I demanded a refund right then. The baker said okay no problem and showed me on his phone the refund was processed electronically in full. He kept trying to offer me cookies as I left the store and I couldn’t help but think that the cookies he was offering probably had more of a priority than the muffins I placed an order for on Tuesday evening days prior. I would not recommend ordering anything from this disorganized baker unless you have time you...

Read moreThis is the lowest rating I can give on yelp. Here's why, one the coffee and dessert was fine, and the barista was nice. However, we sat down to wait for our drinks (waiting for them to-go) and the owner came over and asked my sister if her dog was a service animal? She told him no, we were leaving and that legally you can't ask if the dog is a service animal, but we'll leave. She decided to cancel her drink order and again explain to the owner the service animal law, but he wouldn't listen. She just wanted to let him know if it had been a service animal he could have gotten in a lot of trouble. But he still wouldn't hear her out. And another thing, the place had nothing posted inside or outside the store to let you know they don't want any animals inside. We left the shop and I couldn't even enjoy the drink I got because of the experience. My sister's dog is very well behaved and we had only been there for less than five minutes to pick up drinks and then continue on our walk. I don't think I'll be going back there again. I mean it would have been a fine experience if they had just posted a sign or said by the way we don't allow animals in the store unless they're service animals. But he was kind of rude, didn't listen and I'm fairly certain that the barista heard it from him about not allowing animals in the store as we were leaving. I felt bad for her, but hie needs to read the ADA service animal law and improve his customer service skills or he won't make it in the...
