I'd been going to Yoga-urt since they first opened. This is a case of great product and location, but indifferent and completely snobbish service, every single time I've gone in. They never greet folks with a genuine smile or any kind of warmth, which is strange considering. I keep going in since I'm often in the area, I absolutely love the soft serve & supporting fellow vegans. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment since I am getting nothing but horrible service in return for loyalty. I myself work in the service industry so I ought to know the difference between rude entitled customers vs actual terrible service. Last week, for example, I was standing patiently waiting to place my order and instead was completely ignored by the girl at the register for a good forty minutes while an indecisive, entitled woman with three whiny children could not make up their minds to order. No one else was in the store. I was completely ready with my order but the Yoga-urt employee would not even meet my eyes or ask after me, she and another girl behind the counter just kept ignoring me as well as the self absorbed woman, and would not even give me the time of day so I finally left. Very downheartening to be treated constantly and consistently this way, even when I've met Yoga-urt folks at Vegan Fairs. Especially as a fellow veg customer. Personally I've been going way out of my way to go over to places like Magpies in Silver Lake where they have great vegan soft serve with much friendlier service and care for...

But 1 star off for the following: Ok so hereโs the thing: Iโve been to all 3 locations. This is the only one with smaller cones. Their โminiโ cones are child sized and the โregularโ cones are what the other 2 stores use for โmini.โ
So at this location, if you get 2 โregularโ cones with a topping each, and tip, youโre paying $30. Whatโs even worse is that at the other locations (Echo and Ocean Park) you get a lot more for that price because, again, at this location the โregularโ cones are much much smaller. Both times I tried this location. I even brought it up and they shrugged it off.
Not to mention you can just buy a pint instead of a cone for the same price. The pricing is ridiculous.
I feel horribly taken advantage of by the cone situation at this Glendale/Burbank location. A third layer of messed-upness: my regular cone was much smaller than my friendโs regular cone. I still paid $30 total though. Like a chump....

Third time's a charm they say; however, not this time. I'd give 5 stars for the food/drinks, but the customer service needs improvement. I called to place a phone order, and the employee was going back and fourth between our conversation and a customer there on site. She was obviously a bit irritated and hung up before I could even say thank you. Got to the location and I stated my name for the order, and her reply was "I know, here it is" perhaps she was having a bad day, but this is my 2nd encounter at their Glendale location were the person taking my order was rude. Moving forward, I'm just going to drive a bit further to the one...
