My nephews headlights kept flickering and his car kept shutting off.. I told him we needed to go up to O'Riley's so that they could hook up to his battery and tell him if his battery was bad or if possibly it was his alternator.. he is only 18 he said "they can do that" so we head up there the guy comes out he was great knowledgeable he hooked up he said his battery was fine said is alternator was fine and then he went to the front of the vehicle and started moving wires and he found a loose connection cars fixed works fine. And talk about honesty the 2 men working in there that night Could have said you need a new battery were you need a new alternator but they did not they ran their test and send us on our way without spending a dime. Asked if he look at my check engine light, which is plainly posted in the window. Free check engine light diagnosis. Said they could not do it at this time. I asked why and he said it was because of the covid-19. Kind of weird now that everything has gone into Stage 3 reopening. I left kind of upset but I decided to call the Jenks oreillys. They said they could give me the machine and I could hook it up myself and then bring it back in and they would let me know what the codes were for. I then called AutoZone in Glenpool and they told me no problem, we can read your check engine light for you. Read moreWe had a fantastic experience this evening with Roger, who went above and beyond to help us find a solution after we received notice of a Consumer Advisory from Toyota related to a battery we purchased at this location just 4 months ago. Our Toyota dealer advised us that the battery (despite being widely recommended) could potentially cause a fire due to poor fitting. We returned to O’Reilly’s expecting to purchase a whole new battery, but Roger gave us some of the best customer support we’ve received in years and we walked away with the proper battery installed securely at no extra charge.
