Dollar General — Local services in Glenpool

I am not a fan of Dollar General as a whole nor overly fond of this location in particular. I often drive out of my way to avoid it but visit by necessity on occasion given its proximity to the somewhat rural location of our home. However, this location has one thing going for it and that is an employee by the name of Roman. Roman stands out like a shining light in his environment. He is always smiling and engaging. He is thoughtful in offering help like locating merchandise or bagging items with ultimate regard and consideration for the customer. He makes the experience smoother and more pleasant for everyone he encounters - I’ve observed this every time he is on site. I believe his talents are being wasted in his current role and firmly believe he would be an outstanding addition and asset to any organization smart enough to hire him. Worst DG. From boxes and new mechendise on the floor and in aisles to looong checkout lines and unclean. Half the time wheelchairs cannot negotiate past the front of the store. We live .3 miles away and we avoid DG if possible. Even going to other DGs in other towns and.....even Wally world. Every time we give them a chance they disappoint. Hire some people to keep merchandise stocked and floors clean. Build on if there is no room to store new inventory.

Update: this store has much improved over the moths with service and the isles are mostly cleared now.

Austin was very rude and has no business working in customer service I used to work at this location not long ago he worked there to but I no longer work there so he should have treated me like any other costumer when I tryed to ask for help he got rude and kicked me out banning me for no good reason and I plan to take legal action if I dont get access to the glenpool dollar general back because I live right by that store and it was the only place I shopped in glenpool I shouldnt have to go to a dg that's further away when I didnt do anything to get banned to begin with he shouldnt have treated me the way he did and I've been...
