When I went in for a consult Allison took a look at a pic of what I wanted and said she could give me what I wanted and wrote down the price of my hair color, blow dry, and cut. I came in and waited abt 20 mins for her to finish the client in her chair. Once again I showed her a few pics of what I wanted she took a glance and said let me mix up the color and I will be right back. Long story short it was nothing like I wanted. I was almost in tears. The owner Anthony then came over and tried to tell me it does look like the pic ( which was nowhere near it) and I asked him if he was serious which he then agreed It didnāt look like it. He seemed very annoyed that I was complaining and was giving me an attitude. The color was way off. It was dark dark brown with almost gray highlights. She took me back in the hair washer bowl and somehow reversed the dark and it turned almost like a lighter brown with barely visible hi lights. I still wasnāt happy So He said ok I understand come back and let her fix it! Cool. When I went to pay it was NOT the price she gave me and I did not even get my hair cut. At the time of paying I wasnāt even thinking. I just wanted to get outta there bc it was almost 9 pm from a 415 appt. So the next day when I realized I over paid he said NO it was just a quote (which she never said that) and told me well if the hair cut makes or breaks u then u can just get it when u come in! His tone was so unprofessional. I really didnāt even wanna go back bc of his attitude but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Anyway so I came back in and she re dyed and highlighted my hair and I did feel a lil better even tho it wasnāt what I wanted but she did try and she was really sweet and I didnāt want to seem like a nagging person even tho I had just paid 300 dollars for something THat Didnāt turn out the way I actually wanted. Even still I thanked her and left. Well about 2 days later when I went to work my coworker was checking my hair out and said it looked nice. As she was looking at my hair she notices a pinkish spot and I really didnāt pay her attention when she asked what it was. So A few days later I took a look and noticed all these pinkish spots on my hair. So I tried reaching Allison but she wasnāt in until Thursday and left a message for her to call me back. It took me to call the salon again to get through and I let her know what I saw n sent pics. So she blamed it on my dove shampoo n conditioner. Which is crazy bc the spots were there b4 I even washed my hair. And she said she would have to re tone my hair and it wouldnāt be complimentary. Please beware! Donāt waste your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI want to first say I have nothing against the salon as a whole. The studio was clean, organized, and well decorated. I felt good walking in!
This was my first time getting my hair done in about a year, and it was my first time to this salon. I asked the stylist Abbey to go darker, and for a cut with curtain bangs and layering, and showed multiple pictures of what I was looking for. The consultation was extremely short, with no questions about how I wear my hair, what I liked/disliked about my inspo photos, etc. When I tried to explain how I wanted the bangs, my stylist just said āYeah, I know how to do curtain bangs.ā I was a little uncomfortable but shrugged it off. The rest of the appointment was quiet and a little uncomfortable. For example, the back of my shirt got soaked at the sink, but she did not say anything. She brushed my hair quite hard to pull out any tangles, but kept going from root to tip and tugging instead of focusing on just the knots. She cut my layers in thick sections. Then, she cut blunt bangs. At this point all I wanted to do was leave but we were almost done and I thought maybe in would look okay after she styled it. Instead, she just blowdried my hair without any real styling being done. At that point, I paid and left.
When I got home I took a closer look and was immediately frustrated. There were multiple dye stains on my skin, and the layers were super blunt and choppy (see images). I made an appointment to get it fixed somewhere new.
I donāt want to judge the entire salon because of one stylist, but I will not be rebooking and I unfortunately would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had my first experience with Krystal in the salon on July 22nd, she gave me a haircut and a beard trim, it was good. She asked to put my card on file, but didnāt even tell me about the Cancellation Policy, if I didnāt show up theyāll charge me the whole amount. She asked me when I was traveling, and booked me an appointment on Saturday (08-12-23) then a week or two later she called me and said Oh I have a Funeral on Saturday (08-12-23) so you can come on Friday, a day earlier. I said OK. I got an email around 8:30 pm from my Flight that it was canceled, and they have given me a earlier date of Friday. I tried calling the Salon but they were closed. In the morning Krystal calls me, I tell her that I have to leave Early and wont be able to make it today. She said Oh Ok I will charge your card for the service, because you didnāt show up. I asked if I can talk to her boss (Anthony) who first of all doesnāt know how to talk, and is mad disrespectful, he told me that I shouldnāt ever go there ever again, and I should fight the Cancellation Fee with my Credit Card Company. It was overall a Terrible Experience with Krystal and Anthony(her rude and disrespectful boss) I would never be going there ever again, and would like everyone to know how they steal money from...
