READ BEFORE DINING IN!!
worst experience i’ve had service wise in a restaurant. was expecting something different.
another review mentioned how they feel they would rather not do brown skin dine in, which is how we felt too. lady at the counter stared down my girlfriend and wouldn’t look away, or say anything, but was paying no attention to me which was super weird. i’m white, she’s black. not sure what that was about but can only really assume one thing.
first off, i’ve never not tipped a server before, let alone anything under 20-25%. ever. tonight was the first time. our server, Kerry, didn’t check on us once, just pointed to the room when we asked for a table, brought us our water, and brought over our food. that’s it. never came back to refill our glasses, never responded when we would say thank you, and even made a gesture with her hand when she saw we didn’t finish the chips they give. just a weird experience and i don’t plan on coming back here
our server was sitting at a table with all the other servers eating and counting the tip jar, while the table next to us’ server would fill our glasses. just seemed like she wanted to leave the entire time
sucks because we loved the food here but the service is very underwhelming. felt like we were intruding on them the...
Read moreThere is a reason this restaurant is packed every night. The crab& cream cheese wontons are the best I've ever had, best served eating in. The general tso chicken is fresh and flavorful. I am a huge fan of their green beans. Their food is never greasy, but will still take care of a hangover. I have been a customer since they opened, and I will drive to pick up no matter how far I live. The interior and atmosphere is absolutely transcendent. It felt like you were in a chic downtown city restaurant, but with reasonable prices. It's perfect for a date night. The best part? BYOB with a liquor store next door. Lately, my husband and I fight over their fried wonton things and home made duck sauce. They are the best I ever had. I love how nothing in this restaurant is greasy. My cousin says they have the best sushi, but I don't eat it. They make it in the dining room in full view of customers. Last night (Friday), I was carrying my toddler and a box of food, so a male employee came to open the doors for me. It was super nice, because they were busy. The women there aren't really nice, but I feel it's a culture thing. Americans seem overly friendly to other cultures. The food is fresh. The atmosphere is cute and clean. It's the best Asian type of restaurant in...
Read moreThis place is the best sushi restaurant in the area, hands down! They have by far the most fresh fish compared to every other place I've been to. There's a place closer to me I used to go to a few times a month for their "half off" Tuesday special.. However over time their fish was less and less fresh, and we started seeing smaller and smaller portions of fish in the sushi rolls. So we now drive further, and pay more money to eat at Wild Ginger and it if absolutely worth every penny! The staff is friendly and courteous. They all help each other and more than one of the waitresses will check on you, bring your food, clear your dishes, refill your drinks, which is nice to see that everyone on the staff is concerned with each of the customers and not just the one earning your tip! They have AMAZING homemade crispy noodle chips given after being seated for free. They also have a homemade soy sauce which is great - ask for it when getting take out. They are a BYOB, great place for a date night. They aren't big enough to seat larger parties, unless of course you come when the place isn't busy so definitely call ahead if you're coming with more than 6 people. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're...
