I was talked into accepting a "free" apple watch, which I discovered a month later when I received my first bill that it was NOT free, I had to pay for a non -functioning phone #.
Returned to store, salesman insisted he could not help me with bill, I had to call T-Mobile. I called T-Mobile, told them to remove that charge because I was told watch was free. They removed charge for non-functioning phone #. I tried to return watch, lady of phone said she could not, I would have to return it to the store. I returned to the store, salesman said I would need to talk to manager, and he would not be back until Wednesday.
Another month later, I receive 2nd bill, discover I am STILL being charged for watch! I phoned store, asked when manager would be there, was told he would be there Sunday.
Sunday I go to store, talk with manager, convince him to take back watch which I never wanted, was told it was "free". He called HIS boss, eventually accepted return of watch.
I later discovered after scouring the T-Mobile website for quite a long time, buried deep under "My Account Account Activity History More History (page 2)", a downloadable PDF named "2312141556034801640.pdf", which on examination was titled, "EQUIPMENT INSTALLMENT PLAN (EIP) CONTRACT AND DISCLOSURES," which I never saw before or had any knowledge of, but my name was typed in on the signature line. This "contract" wasn't even correct as the phone number stated was not my phone number, but the contract DID make it clear the apple watch and my cell phone were being purchased on an installment plan, payable in 23 payments of $47.93.
I believe a reputable store would have shown me this contract (and fixed my phone number) rather than just surreptitiously creating it, typing my name on the signature line, and burying it deep on their website where most people would never...
Read moreAfter doing research into various carrier plans and phones, my husband and I decided T-Mobile offered the best plan for us. When we walked into this store, we were greeted right away by Ana. She was able to quickly answer questions we had about the plan and phones we were interested in, the Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8+ (which we ended up purchasing). My husband and I were both leaving pay-as-you-go plans with separate carriers and wanted to keep our respective phone numbers. A few long phone calls had to be made to get info that would allow the transfer of our numbers from our old phones to our new phones. Thanks to her diligence, Ana got this accomplished. We also met Luis and both he and Ana thoroughly answered any questions we had as we were completing the electronic paperwork. They got our phones up and running (along with some tips) and protected with cases and screen protectors. Throughout the process they repeatedly told us not to hesitate to call them or come into the store with any questions or concerns about the plan or phones should they arise. When we were all done, it was actually a little past their closing time, yet they never made us feel like they were trying to hurry us out. Both Ana and Luis were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. We were treated like valued customers and appreciate their efforts in making us...
Read moreBack in May, I decided I wanted to move my service from Verizon to T-Mobile and since this store was near my office, I headed over. What ensued has been nothing short of a nightmare. Sharesh mislead me multiple times, several times flat out lying about products or services I would receive. I was told I would be signed up for a Magenta consumer plan and found out instead I had a business plan, which cannot receive many of the other perks I was told I would receive. On top of all this, Sharesh mislead me with the promotion to pay off my previous provider's phone balance. I was told I could keep my phone and still get the rebate but that is not true. You would have either had to trade in the phone or use the phone for 3 months. Both of which he told me I would not need to do. So now, after I've spent hours in the store (the manager orignally helping me either quit or was fired), hours on the phone with customer service, and many attempts to email the district manager, I'm on the hook for $400+ because I was lied to by Sharesh.
I highly recommend that you do not give your business to this store and instead head downtown to the official T-Mobile store. I only learned this from actual T-Mobile employees after the fact. Genuinely one of the worst and more stressful retail experiences...
