I've decided to return to this Starbucks which is a convenient stop for my commute. In the past, i've had problems with drinks incorrectly made, bad service, bad attitudes from employees.
I waited until after my third visit to provide a follow-up review. On the positive side they seem to have improved on making the drinks consistently but on the service end with the exception of one guy who is also the Bartista. and one girl, the rest of the women at this Starbucks are not very friendly. They're not openly rude, unless you count ignoring the customer. On each occasion my experience has seen them cleaning and restocking only glancing up at me occasionally but not acknowledging at my presence. They could have at least let me know that someone would be with me in a moment. The guy who's making the drinks who's busy takes the time to take my order while these girls stand around almost pretending to work. One particular girl who is blonde only seems interested in helping the good looking young guys. She specifically ignored me at the counter but when I stepped away some of the guy walked up and she immediately helped him. And when I step back to the counter she walked away. I don't know what this chick's problem is. This Starbucks is not focused on customer service. As I mentioned there are a few friendly people here but you can't pick and choose who serves you.
I would prefer to go to the Starbucks at Stork & Hollister, it's a shame it's not as convenient to get to. Don't believe the five star reviews you see about the Fairview Starbucks. It's real hit and miss on the service and more miss than...
Read moreVery unprofessional situation here, after placing my order for a simple coffee and heated sandwich. The sandwich was ready, and delivered by a young man who literally threw it through the air over onto the counter. I really REALLY don't like my food being thrown at me. Waiting waiting waiting, still waiting for a cup of coffee. Asked if they were out of Pikes, was that the problem? Yes, would you like something else? Ok, what have you got? Oh, oops, nothing. They literally had no brewed coffee on hand. This was at about 1:00, one person in line in front of me. By the time the coffee was ready, there was a crowd waiting for their orders. There were 5 people behind the counter, in a small shop, one was the manager. How they all failed to notice that coffee needed brewing is beyond me. Nothing ready to brew, just nothing. By the time I got my coffee, my hot sandwich was barely lukewarm. It took about 15-20 minutes for this all to ensue. Starbucks sells coffee. Make the coffee people. Sell the coffee in a...
Read moreProbably the worst Starbucks store around the area. Place is cozy but tables are tiny and not alot of space for study. Also ordered a caramel frap with extra whip cream, turned out the barista probably read wrong or did not care, drizzled super extra caramel syrup all over the drink, the drink was disgustingly sweet. I asked if they could dilute it in any way, perhaps by milk?(or anything really) Barista did not seem willing to help and asked me instead what I wanted to do (am I the trained barista here?) , then proceeded to add literally few drops of milk into the drink like that would help. Just thought that when you're an employee approached by a customer's question, maybe a better attitude and a show of willingness to resolve the problem would make everyone's day better. Didn't get the barista's name, but if you are reading this by any chance, put on another face for when you work. It will only help...
