I’m from New Orleans and this is not the Cajun experience I was expecting. Pros Price Hashbrowns Home fries Outdoor seating Cons Bad service Read on... We parked across from the place since their lot was full and sat outside in the sunshine. I ordered a vegetarian crazie shirley’s scramble and my friend ordered the California Benedict. My server made a mistake and brought out a different dish with meat in it, but was quick to rectify the situation. My scramble came out soon after, but the eggs and mushrooms had no flavor. (The hasbrowns and toast were good.) Also... despite the initial problem being meat... there was still meat on my plate under the hashbrowns. Apparently they had just transferred the hashbrowns from one plate to another which would have been okay except that meat makes me really sick. The California Benedict was cold when it arrived and one of the eggs was not poached. Ry was really hungry and didn’t want to have to wait any longer so he ate it anyway. He also said he thought the hollandaise was salty. But the home fries were good. I tried to talk to our server about our experience at the end of our meal, but he wasn’t feeling very receptive and became defensive.

For the first time we passed by and there was no line at this location so we gave it a try. I'd been battling gout so I couldn't have my favorite shrimp and grits, or even jambalaya. Instead, I had the blackened chicken. It was a little bland and disappointing. A sprinkle of creole seasoning I discovered among the condiments helped. Rice was OK, but the coleslaw was bland too. It came with a big slab of cornbread, which is always good. She was happy with her breakfast burrito, it was the same quality we're used to at the other locations. Service was average, not what we're used to. The bland chicken and the service pulled my rating down to three and a half stars, but I rounded up to four because the shrimp and grits probably would have made me very happy that day.

3.75 stars with room to grow for this family run, seems like all brothers and friends joint. The Veggie Scramble is a 3.75 star dish. A bit over cooked on the veggies, but the taste was all there. The Rancher Omelette was a 3.25 dish. Again, ingredients good, but the execution left it all a bit soggy. Maybe this being a relatively new place a has it still in training mode. Regular coffee is better than the latte. 4 Stars. Service is awesome and a real plus to attention. 5 Stars. The veggies seemed Beignets are a 4.25 star item. Enjoy them like a fancy waffle or crispy pancake. I’m confident this place will pull it all together and push the “Cajun” a bit more. Come check it out, I’ll come back again and bring the family.

Went here on a Sunday morning and it was packed! We were able to score a booth that had a table added to it to fit our party of 7. The jambalaya and eggs (with the side of cornbread) were amazing! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the dish overall had a nice little kick, but wasn't too spicy. It was savory and went well with the sweet cornbread added to it. I would 100% order again. The coffee is from a local SB roaster, so that is a must! Plus, do yourself a favor and order the table a plate of beignets! The service was very nice and accommodating! I would recommend this little gem of a breakfast place.

Quite a popular place, full boarding during breakfast. Reviews on the Internet are good, but the reality is disappointing. We ordered benedict and an omelette, they chose hash brown, both hash browns were burnt, this can be seen in the photo. I asked for a replacement because it was impossible to eat, after which they brought me exactly the same burnt hash brown. Before ordering, I asked the waiter to explain the details of the dish to me, he rolled his eyes and sighed. The service here is as burnt as hash brown

Interesting place with generous portions. They've got a lot of variety for brunch options, with some really well made creamy omelets, soups, and pancake options. Despite their pancake methodology being expensive, I do prefer the ability to add individual toppings to a base order, especially when there are many different fruits and sauces. The bacon and egg combo could use a bit of work though! I also wish they had a few more non alcoholic drinks. Would come back.
