Starpointe Residents Club — Local services in Goodyear

Went in looking for information about having my bridal shower here… based on the customer service I received just looking for info I don’t think I want to come back… ever.

I have been struggling to find a place to have this event as I have a guest list of 50+. My fiancé and I have recently started renting a home in the area and have been talking to our landlord about how to become members of the club so I figured why not see if we can have my shower here.

Darlene was super friendly at first. Got me a business card for their events person and found the paperwork I would need to fill out to move forward with scheduling my event. That is until she found out I wasn’t a part of the club yet. She literally slid the business card and paper out of my hand and told me I couldn’t have that information because I’m not a member. When I tried to get more information about how to become a member she seemed to no longer want to talk to me.

Overall it felt very demeaning to have somebody actually take the papers back out of my hand when I am in the process of trying to become a member and was looking for more...

Starpointe Residents Club in Goodyear is an absolutely amazing facility. The building is beautiful, clean, and modern with fantastic amenities — from the pool and fitness center to the event spaces and lounges, everything feels thoughtfully designed and well-maintained. It’s a real asset to the community and a great place to relax, work out, or host gatherings.

The overall atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, and I’ve really enjoyed spending time here.

One thing I did notice, though, is that the ladies working at the front desk tend to gossip a lot — often chatting loudly about personal or workplace matters. It’s not a huge deal, but it does take away slightly from the otherwise professional and polished feel of the place. A less gossip would help a lot.

Sydney and Evangeline are simply the best lifeguards I’ve experienced. When our daughter royally messed up her toe while swimming, they came quickly and calmly. While I focused on hugging our girl, they patched her up gently and with skill.

This isn’t just a lovely place but it’s filled with experts who genuinely care about who they serve.
