Purchased an electronic device here that was labeled as working for $20 (which was already pricey, but it was labeled working and appeared clean so I gave it a shot). Brought it home same night and it in fact did not work. I returned not even 48 hours later to the store to return the device. The workers looked at it and didn’t seem too confident at first that they tested it, but then after some time they all of a sudden claimed testing it and it working. Despite all of this, and not even being able to test the device before purchase, they refused to work with me in any way for a refund or exchange, telling me that the policy was because people would mistreat electronics after purchase (mind you this device didn’t even have a scuff on it). Would recommend shopping somewhere else where you can return something that clearly wasn’t working already and where they don’t price gouge...
Read moreI'd give it 2.5 stars. I did a general walk through here. Reminded me a lot of goodwill. Things were priced a little high. I noticed in reviews the person replying stated they want to maximize the generosity of the donors and price things to value. People donate so others can purchase things they can't afford, and people thrift to get deals and find things they couldn't afford. The thrift store at the old bag factory is much better. There were some decent items you can find depending on what you're looking for at a good value, but I'd definitely want to test electronics before...
Read morePrices are very high here. I remember they had a TI 84 Calculator marked at $35 for months there. We could have used it but couldn't pay that much for a used "tested" calculator. Luckily, we went to another close by thrift store and scored one for only $1!!! Really would like to wish this business the best. But they have plenty of competition around them, not only for just prices but donations aswell. If you're looking for a good deal, value wise, this is not the place. I've even heard a worker say they weren't making a profit on a donated item....A profit are you kidding...
