Slade was an excellent sales person. Upon arrival he was busy working with another customer. As we waited, my wife and I tried out a number of different beds on the showroom floor. As we were finishing our selection process, Slade promptly came over to us. Slade suggested that we both lie back on the bed, as he adjusted both the head and foot positions. Although we did not anticipate the purchase of a mechanical frame, Slade demonstrated the benefits to our overall sleep experience. He additionally answered all of our questions regarding warranty and satisfaction. By the time we left the store, we had purchased not only the mattress but the adjustable frame that fit our needs. I shared numerous times with Slade how impressed I was with his abilities as a salesperson. If I may suggest to corporate or upper management at Denver Matterss, Sladeās salary and/or benefit compensation package to be at the top of the scale....

He was turned off the moment we asked about the sale mattresses. He even rolled his eyes at my wife and I when we asked about the difference between a mattress set and ergo. We found a mattress we liked (that wasn't on sale btw) but the guy was ignoring us and not hiding his unhappiness. We left and went to slumberland and ended up buying a full set there including stand and sheets and all. When we shared how much nicer the service was, the guy told me it was the 2nd time he'd heard that in a day. The guy at furniture row must not work off commission... Weve bought 3 couch sets, living room ottomons and decor, mattresses, and more the last couple years, but they lost our sale on this one, and quite possibly all...

We both found it a bit pushy. We worked with a different sales person after that. We did end up buying a purple mattress, but felt misled by the advertising. The President's sale was you get $100 off every $1,000 you spend. We spent over $4,000 and didn't get anything off due to purple's discount which was actually less than what we would have gotten through President's sale. I did ask if the sale promotion could be switched, but was told it couldn't due to the way the system rings them in.
